Based on the claims of Mumbai newspapers (including Hindustan Times) we had reported that actress Rani Mukerji and filmmaker Aditya Chopra got engaged, but all this turns out to be a rumour as Rani's father Ram Mukherjee issued a press release on Wednesday, denying the speculation.

'This is a rumour; the news is not true at all. Rani is busy with her work and she will not do anything secretly,' he said.

Rani is busy shooting for 'Laga Chunri Mein Daag' and Aditya Chopra is going thru a bad phase owing to his divorce case with his wife. Kirron Kher and Anupam Kher, who were reportedly said to be present at the 'Roka' called the entire issue baseless as Kirron was with her son Sikander Kher the whole day, he not being in good health.
