PART 11-The Confession
At chawl:
Its midnight and Kalpi was going restless in her bed, she was continuously turning and tossing in her bed. Raghav was in her heart, in her mind and in every thought coming in her head. She sat on the bed.
Kalpi(to herself): I can't take this anymore. I will tell him, what I feel for him, and whatever he will say in response, I will accept it, so that my restlessness will go forever.
On the other hand Raghav was very sure that after realizing his too much care for Kalpi by him, will definitely raise curiosity in Kalpi or might be she would start to realize his love, so he decided to ignore her as much as possible.

Next day:
From the morning first Kalpi tried to call Raghav but he didn't picked her call. Kalpi wanted to confess her love on phone but as he was not receiving her call, she decided to go to his office. And she got ready wearing a sky blue suit and left for his office. Receptionist has informed Raghav about Kalpi's arrival, so Raghav made an excuse of being busy but Kalpi decided to wait for him in waiting room. When Raghav has got that news that, she was waiting for him in waiting room, he ordered everyone to take care of her every demand from water to food everything.
Kalpi was in a room which has a large mirror on one of its wall, it was mirror for the waiting room but actually was a glass wall for other room that was right beside waiting room. It was already 3 pm Kalpi was still waiting for him there. She was tired of waiting for too long then she was standing beside the glass wall taking its support, resting her head from a side on that. Raghav came in the room next to waiting room to look for Kalpi. When Raghav has seen her on the glass wall, he came closer to the wall and kissed on the wall where Kalpi's cheek was at inches distance from him but the glass wall was separating them. When he did that Kalpi realized something and she looked her sideways as she felt something.
Raghav(in his mind): I am sorry Kalpi for doing this to you, but you have to stay away from me.
When Raghav didn't come for so long Kalpi understood that he was trying to ignore her.
Kalpi(in her mind) : So you don't want to meet. But I am not going to give up so easily, if not now then some other time.
And Kalpi left from there.

Kalpi was making her brain to do extra exercise to think over how to meet Raghav. Then Kalpi got an idea, she called Raghav again but this time she used Pakhay's phone and when Raghav picked the call, she screamed.
Kalpi: Aaah Aayi.
Then Kalpi disconnected the call and switched it off, she was sure that Raghav cares for her and he will definitely come to see her. Raghav was tensed on the other side.
Pakhya: (while coming running towards Kalpi) What happened Kalpu?
Kalpi: (dramatically holding her feet and unbalancing herself) I got bone twist dada.
Kamla: You should have take care Kalpi. (while helping her to sit on bed) Now don't move from here.
Raghav(in his mind): Why she screamed, is she ok? I should go and check, but, I have to stay away from her, then how I will get to know, she is ok or not?
Raghav called Kamla to ask about Kalpi.
Raghav: Kamla maa, Is kalpi alright?
Kamla: (confusingly looking at Kalpi) She has got a bone twist in her foot, but, how do you.
Raghav: (interrupting in middle) Is she ok? It must be hurting naa.
Kamla: No need to panic Raghav baba, I will take care. She will be ok.
Raghav: If you need any help please tell me.
Kamla: Relax Raghav baba, you if I will need your help I will not hesitate.
And they both disconnected the call. Kalpi was not looking at Kamla but her ears were totally focused on her conversation with Raghav. And with the end of conversation, Kalpi has realized that Raghav is not going to come there. Kalpi was disappointed and in her mind was hitting her head, as her one more plan has fallen straight on ground. That night also Kalpi's bed became her dance floor, where she kept turning and tossing.

Next day:
Next day early morning Kalpi left the home and reached Raghav's office before the office hours started. She was waiting for Raghav in office lift. Many office employees were looking at her weirdly as she was not leaving the lift but Kalpi ignored everyone, because meeting with Raghav was most important thing for her to lessen her restlessness. Raghav entered in lift without noticing here and there, as he was busy at his phone but when he realized Kalpi was there, it was too late because Kalpi has already closed the door and started the lift. Raghav mouth hung open at this attitude of Kalpi, where Kalpi was smiling at success of her first stage.
Kalpi: Look, I know, you are ignoring me. Why you are doing this? I don't understand. But please you have to listen to me. I don't know where to start from (sighed). I don't know how much I've known you before my accident but from the moment I've gained my consciousness after that, I felt an unexplainable connection with you.
Raghav: (while ignoring her gaze interrupted) I think you should go home.
Kalpi: No, not now. I will not go before I fulfill the reason, for what I've came here. You don't understand how I feel with your presence around me. My heart beats raises and sometimes it seems like I can feel your presence in my heart. I don't know why but whatever you do, it makes me feel special like you care for me and I really mean a lot in your life. Actually let me come to the point, I feel like I am in love with you. I mean I LOVE YOU.
Raghav kept looking at her with an awe look, it reminded him the day when he was all before her, to make her confess her love. He was feeling the same excitement but then suddenly, he came to the real situation that the Kalpi who is confessing her love right now is no one else but his wife, whom he have to keep away from himself for now.
Raghav: (with arrogance and a sarcastic smile on his face) So, what? That's it , this is all your important matter. Look miss Jadhav, it's good to dream big but using someone else to fulfill your dreams, not good. May be you are very much interested in the name and fame I have, but I am not interested wasting my money for the dreams of a chawl girl. I have a class, better you learn to stay in your limits.
Kalpi was all shocked to hear these words from his mouth, she was ready for hearing "NO" but what she heard was making her feel like someone was crushing her heart and her heart was bleeding. Tears were finding the moment to come out of her eyes, but she didn't allow them to come out.
Kalpi: (in determined voice) There are many other ways to say no, without insulting words.
Kalpi turned and then her tears started flowing through her eyes, she came out of office building. It was raining outside, but Kalpi kept walking without any consciousness of her surroundings. Raghav was following her, as he was aware that, he crossed the limits in his words. Raghav noticed a van coming in speed and Kalpi was crossing the road without looking on either side. Raghav ran to rescue her and finally he rescued her, holding her in his arms on the other side of road they were standing, looking into each other's eyes.
Raghav:(while shaking her through her shoulders) Are you gone mad. What if something happened to you?
Kalpi removed his hands off her shoulder and left without uttering a word.

Kalpi was walking continuously unaware of the path, the way she has chosen. She was walking on the road of an unknown street. Suddenly voice of a crying baby brought her consciousness back. That cry has made her more restless, so she followed the direction from which the sound was coming. Kalpi reached at the door of house from where voice of crying baby was coming, she knocked on the door and a lady came out through that door. She was the same lady she met at the temple and Kalpi recognized her. Lady has invited Kalpi in her home and Kalpi was also desperate to meet that little baby girl, with whom she felt a special connection. Kalpi again made that baby girl stop crying and how she could be failed, afterall she was her own Anjali, the thing was just, she was not recognizing her due to memory loss.
Kalpi: Why this girl cries so much?
Lady: Actually, it is all my fault. I am telling you a secret don't tell anyone this. She is not my daughter. I've stolen her from an orphanage. One day I was passing through a road in front of an orphanage and I saw a man was putting this girl in the cradle in front of that orphanage. Before anyone was able to see this girl there, I've stolen her, because I can't give birth to a child and my husband left me for that reason. I thought I will be able to handle a child and she will bring me out, from my loneliness, but I was wrong. From the day I brought her here, she keeps falling ill and she keeps crying all day. I can't handle this baby girl. I am telling you all this because, I think you can handle her easily. Two times you met her and you made her stop crying, which is I am not capable of yet. Can you adopt her, I mean it seems like you also love this girl child very much.
Kalpi: Me! How can I? I mean, I am not married.
Lady: But what is wrong in becoming her guardian, the way someone left her there in orphanage, it is clear that her family don't want her. She is a needy girl, don't you want to help her.
Kalpi: Ok! I will ask my mother then I will tell you.
The lady and kalpi had a long conversation over many more things, then kalpi left that place. She has actually forgotten the hurting words she heard from Raghav.

Raghav made many attempts to avoid the feeling of grief that was overlapping him continuously from the moment Kalpi left him on the road without uttering a word. But it was not easy for Raghav, and till the day was about to end, he started consuming alcohol, and he has gone heavily drunk. And when Raghav had no more sense to think about how to react, he decided that he will go and make Kalpi understand that he never wanted to hurt her. And he left for chawl in his Car at 11:30 pm.
Raghav(in his mind): (while driving car) She have to understand me, I can't tell her truth but I can ask her forgiveness. I can't see her tears and I can't. hhhmmm I can't see that she hates me.
When Raghav reached chawl he looked at himself and then decided that he can't go in front of Jadhav family in drunken state, so instead of going up to their house, he sat on the platform of Lord Ganesha's temple and kept his cell phone there. He fixed his eyes at the balcony in front of the Jadhav house. Kalpi was trying hard to sleep but Raghav's presence around her was something that she was capable of feel at her heart, she was going restless on bed. Finally Kalpi decided to sit under the moon for some time so she came out in the balcony. When she was moving her eyes, the man sitting on Temple platform grabbed her attention, she was shocked to see him there. Raghav also looked at Kalpi and smiled then he stood up but he was not able to stand properly as he was drunk. Raghav was continuously smiling at her and was trying to balance himself on gound. Kalpi was confused looking at his condition, she came down and stood beside him folding her hands.
Kalpi: (sarcastically)Now what? Anything bad you forgot to say in morning.
Raghav held his both ears to say sorry and made a puppy face, which was a sudden shock for Kalpi. An arrogant brat was standing with a most adorable look on his face. Kalpi rolled her eyes on her right side, like she was refusing to forgive him. Raghav came in front of her eyes and a little closer to her and cupped her face into his palms.
Raghav: (stammering) K.. K.. Kalpi! I am sorry Kalpi, I never wanted to hurt you, you understand naa. I never..I am sorry Kalpi. Don't be angry on me.
Raghav kept repeating these lines to Kalpi and then she realized that he was drunk, so she thought of not arguing with him over anything.
Kalpi: Ok! Ok! I forgive you. Now you should go.
Raghav: (with an innocent smile on his face) You are not angry on me.
Raghav was giving her an intense gaze that made Kalpi take few steps back as she was feeling awkward. But Raghav also tken some steps forward with her. Raghav kissed Kalpi on her cheek and said, "Thank you". Kalpi blushed at his this gesture, she was as red as tomato and at the same time surprised and then she composed herself.
Kalpi: Raghav! You should go now, it is too late, naa.
Raghav: hhhmmm.
Raghav was not going anywhere but uttering silly and non sense things about surrounding to Kalpi. Kalpi realized that he would not be able to drive the car in this condition so she called Sammy to pick him up to his home. Sammy came there in 15 minutes and looking at Raghav's condition he doubted that Raghav could have uttered the truth in front of Kalpi, so he enquired.
Sammy: What did he tell you.
Kalpi: It has nothing to do with you.
Kalpi's reply was confusing but was enough for Sammy to get that the secret is still a secret. Finally Sammy left with Raghav. And while going back Kalpi found Raghav's cell phone on the temple platform. She picked up that phone and checked it. She found her many pictures on his cell phone including the wallpaper of his phone.
Kalpi(in her mind): Mr. Raghav Singhania. You are trapped now, let's see how you will ignore and insult me this time.

Finally in next part Kalpi will face the truth of her life. I will end this story on a romantic node so, keep patience nd enjoy ur life😊.
