So now we r experiencing the New Yamini as she herself said today in the precap that ''woh ab pehele wala yamini nehi rahi'' deserves introspect how this new Yamini exactly is.
More importantly how was that before yamini ? and how is she different from the ''now Yamini''. the earlier yamini was totally at her father's beck and call but not without showing how much reluctant she was doing that and how much that pained her.she was shy to the whole world so naturally she found Nikumbh overwhelming at first.as the relationship matured between then, she found a mentor, a friend , a confidante in nikumbh and tried her best to see confidence and admiration for her in his eyes,to make him happy with her effort until that last scene disaster.
Now the ''After Yamini'' as fas a I can see inspite of my miopic vision, she has evolved into a refined version of her daddydearest. pehele, she has let go her innocence, shyness and guilt conscience, the sense of what is right and wrong. earlier,she might not had the guts to fight against wrongs but atleast she had the inner strength to understand and differentiate it. it seems now all nikumbh's training boomeranged and instead of making her shakuntala, has a made a Frankenstein's monster out of her who strangled her creator's dream and future at the very first attempt and continues making it hellish.
She is now a perfect manipulative, bossy,opportunist, tantrum-thrower star yamini singh. Wah cvs !! she still has no remorse of what she had already done, still dreaming that nikumbh will come say sorry to her but tab tak toh phir bhi we can tolerate but how come she is showing selective blindness at his father's fantastic open manipulation,he is openly suggesting yamini to do anything to convince nikumbh for the play as he is an important for her career, he is brazenly indicating yamini to use him now so that he can be thrown away when time come...and she cannot read them as an insult to the person who she proclaims has done so much for her, who means so much to her !! here toh she shows no newness in her spirit and does not show any hesitancy in agreeing with her, she actually planning with her daddy how to gain Nikumbh's consent to work with her...howcome she cannot notice her father's constant profane attitude toward's nikumbh starting from the press meet even in front of her, in front of the whole media he was constantly showing him down, telling how much he was fortunate to get an opportunity to act with her...there she has got nothing to say but to give a constipated stare...and as far as I know,remaining silent actually is equivalent to agreeing upon. Then as soon as her papa dearest showered some crocodile tears how nikumbh misbehaved with him, she immediately jumped guns and ran to argue with him, not even once she thought that there might be something else in the story...like the way she doubted that her father might hav said something offensive to nikumbh the day he came to her house...the way she questioned if her father said anything to him.
And see how she got a perfect opportunity to manipulate poor nikumbh, catching him off guard and how in a round about way she sweetly extracted a yes from him with all her kind Florence Nightingale acts and pouty face...
yes she was innocent once,but now she has become her father's ideal soldier, ready to do anything at his signal ! And since she is starting anew she has to get the mumbaiya star attitude correct from now...
so...
1. manipulaing a person in his personal low situation. Check
2.throwing tantrums. Check
3. demanding her right to alter scenes and script according to her wishes. Check
4. ready to use anyone and everyone for her own benefit. Check
5, shallow and unable to think beyond herself. Check.
So, great going cvs and thank you sooo very much for this interesting turn in yamini's character and effectively ruing my joy of watching the show !! take a bow !
