I dont know whats going on- but I think its all the 'tussle' inside Yamini- the yearning inside her for some how making Nikumb listen to her, understand her and forgive her - that is what is coming out in anger- if I try to give some benefit of doubt to her. Maybe?

Haha... Shalini, you are too optimistic! It would have made sense had she shown even an iota of remorse. But nahi! Ab tak she was chup because she was not being "Shakuntala" enough! Now that she is the "new" Yamini, it's all coming out! Nonsense of the first grade! 🤢

But this total disconnect about what she has actually done and what has actually hurt Nikumb the most and how far off the mark she is of her understanding of nikumb as a person- this - I think maybe its only us that are taking this path of thinking- maybe the writers never intended that to be an issue- very disappointing if that is the case and I really expected better!

Exactly. I think hum hi fools the who were expecting this track. But what were the writers intending? Is this how they wanted to show Yamini's evolution? That she has finally picked up the courage to stand up to Nikumbh? Or they wanted to justify Yamini's thought process? That she is the better person because she believes in love? Or was this just to create a contrived misunderstanding? I don't know.

And I've said this earlier also- whatever she learnt from nikumb during the tasks- all that himmat she got- all that only comes out in front of Nikumb only- that too in form of tantrums?? Whats happens exactly to those guts when her dear father is spouting utter crap about 'chote log hain' abi matlab hai toh use them otherwise just discard them? She is not that innocent or dumb that she cannot understand the insinuations? And if she does understand but let them go just because she knows her father says all those things and doesnt want to take any hassles - then what exactly has been her growth so far?? How can she be shown so olivious to her dad's kaarnaame- i dont understand that!

How long is the viewer supposed to make a case for Yamini because she is innocent? What makes her shut her eyes to what is SO OBVIOUSLY wrong!

For Yamini - this has become all about how Nikumb is being unreasonable, how he is throwing tantrums and how unapproachable he is being- so its not her fault at all- it was anyways never her fault as such in her mind!

And today- just for once i had a tiny issue with Nikumb also- I understand his flying off the handle as soon as he sees her or she is involved in his business in some manner- but i hope for once he hears her out especially if she says how he should not be angry with her as the audience loved the play! I want Nikumb to hear that and say THANKS but NO THANKS - you have never understood what I am and where i come from and it seems you never will- so GOODBYE Yamini- go back to your Dad!

Absolutely. And the fact that he is not telling her that she made a total mockerry of his vision and thought process, proves that the writers never intended to go that way! And that is sheer disrespect to a character like Nikumbh!

But My Azam- man- someone perk him asap! Nikumb i expected more from you there- and not just walk out like that. I didnt like that a bit!
