He was the reason to watch the show for very choice few people...hardly 10 in number overall...usmein se bhi hardly 2-3 people made topics on Rudra stating the same...baaki toh was general drooling or worshipping going on.

Yes, he does have a solid theater background and he's shown that he has comic timing too if his JDJ performances are anything to go by...so I'm not writing off his ability to be versatile but I'm saying he makes an impression mainly through his intensity...he needs an intense character to be able to use his best asset...his eyes.

Like I honestly had no interest in the previous characters he played until he played Rudra...a character like that stood out...and that doesn't happen often no matter how good the actor...the character is what makes it all happen.

haa yes i never saw Ashish before his rudra avatar and tried watching Gunahon Ka Devta online then quickly stopped making that effort. rudra, the original version, i mean not the domesticated one, was tailor made perfect for him but phir bhi I think he would be able to play an intellectual role well too and maybe use his assets in a different way,making them soft dreamy poet like ?? who knows !

Eveline used to make really good posts...I used to enjoy reading hers...woh bechaari bhi zyada der nahin last ki in the face of Doll bhakts bashing her left right and center.

The rest I didn't really agree with, sorry😆

Re: Ashish...@bold: You've got a point...now that I'm trying to visualize...yeah he could pull that off but he would need some SOLID writing support...a very well conceived, layered character even if it's a soft one...and probably great directorial support too to use his eyes and body language to express a soft/quiet character more...see so many variables...badi mushkil se you get the right combination on TV.

A warning for criticism, PERIOD😆...but yeah more likely if the criticism is directed at a character played by a popular actor...then god only save you from the fanbots baying for your blood for daring to criticize a CHARACTER😆

So right now we are lucky we are in a forum so DEAD with actors who have like NIL fanbases😆...and no mods that I can see around either...that's how dead this place is and no one wants to bother with it...😆

And then they ruin it with sloppy plots, horrible editings, abrupt changes in storyline in name of twists and absolute character assassination 😭

Oh ruination comes later...atleast initially if the combination is right, a character, a show makes a mark...if not in terms of TRPs, atleast SOME audience somewhere can appreciate the effort that went about into getting the combination right...

Warna most shows toh don't even bother making the effort right off the bat...wohi same cliched characterizations...bubby girl-brooding guy, hate shaadi blah blah.

Baad mein jo bhi ho, I can appreciate the fact that atleast for a few months I got to watch an interesting character played out so well.
