Monsoon casts its own magic even in reel time and television soaps are not immune to its spell.
It's that perfect season when lovebirds can get drenched in love, find their passionate moments and dance in the rain with long eyelocks and a sensuous number playing in the background like that in a soapy world. With cupid striking the main protagonists at the right monsoon-y moment, a fiercely passionate hug followed by some more loving moments are just what showmakers need to set the TVTs skyrocket northwards (after all it's all in the numbers). Heartbreakingly handsome heroes unsuitably clad for the monsoons (and unprepared for it) and nubile nymphs in white chiffon sarees or figure hugging churidar kurtas find love in the middle of the (un) seasonal downpour in predictable telly circumstances that often go down in history as the most watched
mush monsoon sequences and stay with fans for a long time, even after the show wraps up.
In Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon season 2, after high drama there's love brewing between Raju (Vivian Dsena) and Madhu (Drashti Dhami) who had their share of romantic moment in the rain holding an umbrella and sharing a loving eyelock as Tujh Me Rab Dikhta Hai played in the background.

Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful moments in Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon - Colors. Though it was pouring rain, Madhu and Raja found peace and joy in each others embrace and the colorful umbrella they held symbolized that even if there are going to be hurdles in life, it would always be colorful as long as they were together. Beautifully portrayed !!!
