Flashback: Sakshi asks for Payal's hand in marriage. Payal is stunned while Shaurya wonders what his mother is planning to do. However Payal refuses to marry Shaurya. In the court, Payal confesses that she & Shaurya loved each other and whatever happened was with her consent.
Durga silently weeps as Dev asks what happened. He says she can still help him. Durga asks Dev why he emailed Nitya telling her that he'll support the Goenkas. She shows him the email message and Dev is stunned. He tells her that he never sent any email to Nitya, infact he wasn't even aware of what ever happened. He was in the US when he came to know everything but there was a problem regarding the visa. He tried his best to come but he was detained by the authorities. He has absolutely no idea where Payal, Nitya and their parents had been. When he returned, everything was over. He doesn't know where Nitya is, he searched everywhere but couldn't trace Nitya. Durga turns away and cries. Dev picks up the locket and says that he knows why Nitya is hiding. Durga smiles thinking that Dev is talking to her and turns only to see him talking to the locket. Rajnath enters, Dev keeps the locket aside and Durga excuses herself. Raj greets Dev and tells him to get well soon. The officers arrive at the hospital and show Rajnath the picture of the truck driver for identification. Rajnath fails to recognize him and the officers inform that the man in the picture was actually a hitman hired to attack Dev. The officers ask Raj if Dev had any rivals, Rajnath recalls Sakshi telling him that Dev and Shaurya couldn't stand each other. However, Raj dismisses the fact that Shaurya could do such a planned attack. He tells the officers that Dev had no such rivals. He also tells that he wanted to meet them personally regarding this case and would arrive at their office within an hour. As Rajnath leaves, Durga requests Akash to locate Gautam as she'd like to talk to him. Sakshi remembers Karan telling her how Shaurya planned both the attacks on Dev. She tries calling Rajnath, meanwhile Raj also calls up Sakshi. Both of them are not able to talk as they're trying each other's number at the same time. Sakshi is furious as Raj isn't answering the call and Raj is irritated as Sakshi is talking to someone. Raj receives a call but from Raima and tells her whatever happened. On the other hand, Sakshi notices Rajnath's missed call and decides to call back only to find the line busy. Gautam is relieved to know that Dev is alright. She asks him if the attack was an accident or was it planned. Gautam tells her to talk to Dev about it. Durga says Dev was attacked twice hence she wants to know the truth. Gautam agrees and tells her everything that happened. Durga realizes her mistake of getting Dev against Shaurya. Sakshi calls Akash and inquires about Rajnath. He tells her that Raj left a while ago as the CBI officers had arrived.
Durga places Dev's photo in Nitya's diary. Dayal tells her that the photo is in its right place. Durga says she misunderstood Dev. The Goenkas hacked his account and sent him the email. They didn't even let him come to India. He always stood for her and Payal. Dayal tells her to step out of this room and think about a new start for Dev and herself.
Durga closes her eyes and imagines a moment with Dev telling her to forget everything and move on. Durga smiles and runs while Dev chases her. She hides behind the bed and Payal steps ahead saying that she has captured her (Durga) only for him. Dev pulls Durga out and says that he wants to grow old with her he says from now on there'll be only happiness. Durga opens her eyes and Dayal says her smile shows that she has seen something beautiful.
PRECAP: Raj and Sakshi both congratulate Shaurya for his wonderful achievement while Shaurya looks perplexed.
