Part 1
Madhu goes and gets 1.5 ltr milk of Rs. 90. Raja says to heat the milk up. Madhu rues that if this continues how will the house run. Raja asks if the milk is hot and Madhu says we need to wait till the milk is boiled. Madhu brings the milk to Raja and he makes her sit. Raja says no matter what, if i need to work as coolie, i will .. but wont let my baby be denied milk. I will stay hungry one time but will feed u and the baby with milk and dry fruits. Raja makes Madhu drink the milk. She is moved. Raja makes Madhu drink the milk. Raja says i promise u, i will earn and save money and ensure u dont have shortage of anything. Madhu hugs Raja.
Lela gets phonecall from Bittu that he is returning in 2-3 days. Lela says you told me u will return after few months. Radha is fine and at home. Lela cuts the call and rues that Bittu is coming back early. Have to leave this house and go to chawl. She decides to talk to Agni. Just as she is passing by Tara's room she notices jewelery and decides to take it. She is running away when Tara calls out. She asks Lela where she is coming from and Lela says from nowhere. She notices something in Lelas hand and Lela fakes stomach ache. She rues that thought to take a walk in the mansion but. Right then Tauji calls Tara. She turns and leaves. Lela thanks God.
Raja comes from outside all drenched in rain. Madhu asks why did you not take umbrella and Raja says had one so. Madhu asks Raja what happened and Raja says was told need to be graduate. Madhu asks so all is a waste and Raja says no, going for interview for Security Supervisor. Madhu sulks and Raja says this is first step now see how fast i climb. Raja wipes his hair but Madhu says not wiping properly. Let me and asks Raja to sit so she can dry his hair. Raja lies in Madhus lap. Rajbala eyelocks. Both smile.
Tauji rues about rainfall of Mumbai and Tara offers to make Pakodas. Agni-Lela agree. Tauji sulks thinking about Raja. Lela says in chawl during rains, water leaks. Tauji sulks. At night while Rajbala are asleep, water seeps from the ceiling and Raja gets up and covers Madhus head to ensure water doesnt fall on her and disturb her sleep.
Part 2
Raja brings a bowl and keeps collecting the water. A few drops fall on Madhus eyes and she wakes up and notices Raja focussing on the ceiling to collect the water. She smiles. Madhu asks Raja what he is doing. Raja says tried hard but the water drops defeated me. Madhu says its raining hard. Madhu gets other utensils and asks Raja to get umbrella and he does. Madhu rues that the whole floor will be filled with water. Raja gets trunk and duo sit on it. BG - Tujhme rab dikhta hai. Rajbala sitting on the trunk under the umbrella and splashing water on each other. Both laugh. touch foreheads and Raja hugs Madhu.
Raja comes to shopkeeper and says ceiling is leaking, need some plastic cover and he says costs 1000 Rupees. Madhu is about to swap the floor when Raja says no, i will do it. Madhu tries to resist but Raja insists. Madhu asks Raja to freshen up and makes tea for the duo. She feeds Raja .. dahi-shakkar. She wishes Raja luck. Asks how he will go to the job interview. Raja says by local train. Madhu asks Raja to be careful.
Part 3
Raja tries to catch local train but misses a few times. He finally manages to catch a local train. Madhu puts the idol of PK on the shelf. Right then there is a knock on the door and Madhu opens. Its Tauji. Madhu puts veil on her head. She rues that they dont have chair for him to sit on and Tauji says have the trunk. Madhu brings glass of water for Tauji. He asks where is Raja and she says went to give interview. Tauji says good news. Madhu says just pray that Raja gets job. Tauji says am sure he will get job. He says am sure Raja will do something big. Madhu offers to make tea but Tauji says no need. Tauji tells Madhu have some work. He gives Madhu cash as debt to buy new house. Tauji says its ur love but Raja doesnt want any help. Madhu says i was going to take kerosene from neighbor but it sets bad habit so did not take it. Dont worry we are happy. Tauji says fine.
Precap -- Madhu asks Raja if he got the job and he says i wont work, i will open my own business.. will set up a garage called 'Raja-Rani garage'. Madhu says Tauji said the same. Raja says now see how well i do.
