Bhalla house : (Ramans perspective)
Its funny how certain events in your life change your whole being and existence For me one such event was meeting my wife,When we first met nobody would have ever imagined us being in the place that we are in right now,It took a long time.. but it happened ,Like it was bound to,I fell in love with her.Who wouldnt?
I dont say it to her as often as i should ,Actually i never do but i have an inkling that she knows and she always will That if there's someone I cherish value or love more than anyone in this world Its her"Ishita". As I look into her face nuzzled into my arms In a deep slumber while the first morning rays of the rising sun caress it, I Cant help but thank the heavens above and the god sitting up there,A god I dint believe in Until he dropped her into my life.
Looking at her I wonder weather ill ever be able to give back to her all that she has given to me.
I cant even begin to measure the magnitude of her importance in my life ,without the risk of sounding sappy I cant really think Of an existence that doesnt have her in it anymore.
Ishita has given to me all that I have right now,Stability,Love, A life with purpose and the most important treasures of my life My children.
Yes Children, Ruhi was and will always be Ishitas No matter who her Biological mother is,But Apart from our daughter,That god sitting up there finally decided to reward Ishita for her Immeasurable Goodness and through some miracle she gave birth to OUR child in every true sense of the word, His "Yes Its a boy" birth and the events leading to his birth are memories that have been etched into my mind forever. The first time Ishita told me about the miraculous Pregnancy my joy knew no bounds I dont remember ever being as excited as I was then,Her pregnancy with him albeit a little difficult is still one of the most joyous times of my life,At his birth when I first held him into my hands my eyes broke into tears It was like the birth of my first child all over again In a way it was my first child,My first child with her.
My mom named him, "Ansh" because the name truly did capture what he was to her My mother who belonged to the old school of thought loved Ruhi with all her heart but had always longed for another "Waaris" as she calls it.
Aadi who is still as important to me is doing well too He has become more respectful and loving towards all of us,Still lives with his mother but is part of our lives in a larger capacity and considers Ishita to be a second mother and calls her Ishima,and she loves him like a son too,He's The only one who calls her Ishima now,Ishita is called Mamma by both Ruhi and Ansh,Ruhi found Mumma much simpler so dropped the Ishi in front of it,I also sometimes think there was some sibling rivalry with Ansh involved,but thats a tale for a different time.
My chain of thoughts are interrupted by the voice my small child Ansh who is all of 5 years old and embodies Raman And Ishita in the most beautiful way possible,He truly is Ishra,Without the risk of sounding haughty i really do think that My child is one of the cutest kids I have seen ,He looks a lot like Ishita with his fair skin dimples and big eyes but there's me in there too,His nose and mannerisms scream Raman atleast that's what my family tells me!
This cute cherub of mine is jumping into my bed right now,I gesture him quitely to not be loud because i dont want Ishita to get up early on a sunday!
Ansh : Paaapppaaa
Raman : Ansh Dheere se bolo! Main nahin Chahta mamma uth jaaye une aaj sone dete hain! Aaap itni subah kaise Uth gaye? Roodee (That is what Ansh calls her) Kahan hain?
Ansh : Woh toh sleepy sleepy kar rahin hain Papa!
Mujhko neend nahin aarri Woh Bad waale dreams aa rahen hain! Aaapko patah mere bed ke neeche 2-2 Monsters hain ek Blue aur ek Green! Aur main hungry bhi hoon :(
Raman : Hahaha Ansh tum nahin sudhroge! Chalo aaj papa monsters ko bhagaake tumhe khaana khilaadinge
saying this Raman picks Ansh into his arms and slowly closes the door to his And his wife's room to let her continue her sleep.
They enter Ansh's room where he makes his father undergo the whole drill of making the monster run away by what he believes is his fathers superman powers!
By this time some other people have started getting up from there sleep too.
If Ruhi was pampered as a baby Then Ansh Is doubly pampered because he has his mothers family running after him and being indulgent with him too! Both me and Ishita work hard towards keeping all of our kids grounded and well mannered,As a parent all i want for all three of my kids is For them to be good individualistic happy people.
On the dining table i see Mummy and Papa fussing after Ansh I also see Romi and Sarika engaged in a friendly banter and I feel happy for my brother who is now settled into happy Matrimony with Sarika!
At this juncture i see The women/girls of my life enter ourhall together looking like the mother daughter that they truly are,The now 12 year old Ruhi is still attached to the hip of her mother. Sometimes I chuckle at how they miraculously have even started resembling eachother in my mind!
Ansh spots his mother and runs over to her saying mumaaa and jums into her waiting arms,seeing my family together the first thing in the morning is what really makes my life worth it!
I walk over to them and all four us engage in a family banter,From the corner of my eyes i spot my Mother shedding a tear or two and thanking god for the state of bliss I am now in,And I decide to pitch in too and look up into the sky and thank that god sitting up there for giving me the family and the love that i have always desired and needed.
