Durga's feelings for Dev - What I expect from Durga

I was thinking what I want Durga to do after she confirms Dev loves Nithya. For me Dev is her 3rd emotional baggage and the most crucial one also. As I said in some other post her other 2 weakness Payal and Divya have been taken care of.

See the nectar of love is hard to refuse especially from a person she has known from childhood. To some extent a feeling she too reciprocates. I mean it's a giddy feeling, happy feeling to know that you are loved. Someone wants you in his life. I would say for any girl that is an exhilarating feeling. Flush of first love. It's always beautiful.

Then her pain that she can never get that love as Durga, because Dev loves Nithya. Unless she reveals her true identity to him she cannot get that love. I want to see the conflict in Durga because the conflict is natural, if they dont show the conflict I would say exaggerated. Conflict of revealing herself as Nithya and take the nectar of love or remain in the identity of Durga to complete her mission.

From this conflict I want Durga to emerge successful, a woman determined on her mission and by extending her hand of friendship to Dev I want her to be in driver's seat as far as Dev is concerned.

Because Nithya and Dev were friends. Durga and Dev can be friends too. Dev does not know about Durga's plotting. He need not know also. Let him investigate. If he reqeusts her help she can provide that to him as Durga. A cordial functioning friendship is what will help Durga handle this last emotional turmoil between her and her mission.

I hope she makes it and she reaches there emotionally more stronger.

Well I agree with you. Durga should not reveal his identity to Dev. Being friends as Dev and Durga is all she can afford now and that will be good for Dev's safety too. But she needs to keep distance from him as she might say or do something which may create doubt in Dev's mind and he will go to investigate once again. I want him to be with Payal (if htat is possible) because Payal is right lonely with no one to talk to as a friend, she needs to get out of loneliness.

No way should Dev meet Payal. Goenkas will follow him and crackdown on poor Payal. And he is too naive to meet her without letting anyone know or keep her safe.

He should investigate first and know his family. Focus on them.

Enough of love thing for Nitya.

Or maybe Durga should marry him, enter Goenka mansion, and take revenge as bahurani.

@atominis how can Durga stop Dev meeting Payal. Agree we know she is Nithya, but in the soap she is Durga. A US returnee who has no personal relations in Kolkatta.

Payal is adopted by her trust , to the outside world Durga is not Payal's sister but a caring person who is concerned with poor.

To maintain the identity of Durga she has to keep that distance with Payal in front of the world. She can never behave like Nithya for Payal as neither doc nor the nurse knows the relation. It has to be that way only.

So why a US returnee will have problem showing a girl to Dev. If she knows Dev's relationship with Nithya who is she to question him in meeting Payal.

Actually she has no rights on Payal and she cannot stop anyone from visiting Payal. So she has to take Dev to Payal because she is Durga and not Nithya.

Coming to entering Goenka mansion as bahurani that is def in the cards as I am also seeing it more or less clearly now. But she is gonna enter as Durga not as Nithya so romance will remain in back burner.

Only problem for her will be to handle her emotions in keeping that identity when she sees Dev breaking down now and then remembering Nithya as it is more or less sure that marriage is gonna be forced on him😃

I had got the hint of it the day she asked the Goddess I want to see Dev in pain and I want him to fall in his own eyes. If he is forced to marry Durga both will happen and she herself will watch that pain not able to do anything as she has to complete her mission.

Path of justice is hard and with each step it becomes harder as you see the turmoil in relations.
