Biz Asia: Colors UK moves Madhubala for Shastri Sisters

In a bid to spruce up falling ratings, Colors UK has decided to shift Madhubala' from the 20:30 band, to make way for new drama Shakuntalam Telefilms' Shastri Sisters', BizAsia can confirm.

Madhubala', which has been under the scanner for many months, has not been performing so well on the UK beam of the channel.
Here's the breakdown of Madhubala' for the last eight days:
Monday 7th July - 1,500
Tuesday 8th July - 23,800
Wednesday 9th July - Zero
Thursday 10th July - Zero
Friday 11th July - 1,300
Saturday 11th July - 0,400
Monday 14th July - 0,600
Tuesday 15th July - Zero

Shastri Sisters' will take the 20:30 band from Monday 21st June, while Madhubala' will move to 19:00 on the same day. The change only applies to Colors UK and not in India.

Shastri Sisters' will take the 19:00 slot, which is currently occupied by the repeat of BeIntehaa'.

They are moving it because meri aashquie comes at 8:30 in uk on rishtey rather than colors!
