Today's episode was a perfect continuation of yesterday's. I wasn't surprised to know Akash was behind the scenes and that the photograph album was planted by him and Durga to throw Shekhar off. It completely gels with the confident way she told him she wasn't Durga Thakur and ordering her own drink instead of what Durga liked to drink.
She totally boosted his own courage to pursue his instincts and walk right into her trap.
The one thing that did surprise me is how she put her own birthmark on Durga's picture with Dr. Thakur and made it look like Durga. That was the masterstroke of the week. Proof positive that not only does Durga know how to dress appropriately, but she knows how to handle her enemies in the same way.
Now that she has blown off Shekhar out of town and told the Goenka family where to stuff it, time to check in with sister dear because the poor thing doesn't remember the last time she saw her. 😃
I loved today's show because it showed that Shekhar and Sakshi's instincts were right about Durga but they couldn't prove a thing because they underestimated her intelligence.
I think Dev is innocent regarding the email sent to Nitya, but I feel his character needs to get a backbone. He stood there with his mommy and did nothing. This would have been a perfect chance to gain Durga's trust and maybe she would have shown you the diary but no, you turned into a statue in your own living room. Let other people open their bloody mouths and have their say. If Dev doesn't learn to support the truth, then he's no better than his mother. At this point, neither Mrs. Goenka cares to support the truth and both are doing whatever serves their purpose.
