Looking at the story so far, I feel Rehaan is genuine lover compared to Aahil :
Rehaan:
1. Likes Sanam for who she is and have guts to stand by her when she needs support.
2. He is not in greed of money and genuinely wants her happiness and puts her needs first to his own needs to an extent that he is going against his mom's wishes.
3. He understand her, her needs and her family needs and willing to be there for her with no expectation except love in return.

Aahil:
1. He is attracted to her but don't know what Sanam really likes and dislikes.
2. He is hesitant to stand by her when she is being insulted by Nida.
3. He never bothered to share his feelings and addition to it he was being rude to Sanam for not understanding his feelings.

Rehaan's only downside is he is Billi's son and he is keeping his secret from everyone including Sanam. However, he seems to be genuine enough to let Sanam know the truth after confessing his love to her.

Aahil's downside is that he is a secret to himself and for people around him, he can't even express his real feelings without being constrained by his ego.

Do Aahil deserve Sanam? May be not but life is never fair to leads in QH ever.

Nice post G4W.
IF Rehaan and Ahil are kept in a character weighing scale, the scale will tilt by a big margin in Rehaan's favor.

If Ahil hasn't confessed, Rehaan too is guilty of the same. He is baring his heart to all parties concerned except the main party - Sanam.

And Rehaan's asking for Sanam's hand in marriage to Dilshad was so so heart warming and was nicely written and for a change Rehaan acted well in that scene.

Agreed.
But the irony here is that, be it reel or real.
Bad guys get the girls.
They have a potent charm of their own.
Maybe life is exciting with them. ????
They are assertive and honest and that is attractive.
I don't mean negative characters but grey characters.

Yes, in real life lot of girls ( predominantly the younger lot) lean towards bad guys ...may be bad guys come across as an adventure or they are popular enough for girls to overlook their grey side. However, in QH, Sanam don't seems to be married to Aahil by choice but circumstances.

Agreed.
Aahil evokes feelings in Sanam that Rehan doesn't
She has a comfortable relationship with Rehan, but after everything is said and done, she will madly and passionately fall in love with Aahil.
I always like your take on things.
You give it a different dimension.

Very nice post.

I find Rehan to be somewhat shady on a very very subtle level. This shadiness is creepy precisely because it is masked by the veneer of openness. While openly defending Sanam, openly giving her somewhat intimate presents like the gajra, and then proceeding to openly help her arrange it in her hair, and openly approaching Dilshad for Sanam's hand, there is a lingering sense of him managing to hold his cards very close to his chest.

Why has not Rehan opened up to anyone about what Billo revealed to him. Why is Rehan not openly disturbed by all this? Why does he not covertly, if not openly, warn Ahil about Billi's motives as far as the nikah with Nida is concerned? While talking with Dilshad, why would Rehan with a straight face--no wait, adorable puppy face-- wax eloquent about living in a small house happily with Sanam and helping Sanam reopen her dhabba, while he knows full well that whether he wants it or not, he stands to inherit the property as per Billi's masterminding schemes. These are the reasons I find Rehan disturbing. There is something brewing there that the audience is not yet privvy to, and I am sure that it will be messy when it all explodes all over the plot.

Brilliant post there!
I think love and falling in love just happens. Its not about who deserves whom or not. Its about that connection you feel when with you are with that someone.

As they say, "opposites attract". This law of attraction comes in the picture when you feel that connection towards someones and you just happen to love those things which you. even in your wildest dreams haven't thought of liking it. Love does that. Its only about the heart and soul connection.
When you fall in love, or, rather I would say, BEFORE falling in love, you don't introspect as to, why would I love him? Why should I love him? Do i deserve him? Would I be happy with him? Would he hurt me? Would he love me the way I do? Would he harm/hurt me? Would he be perfect for me? Would he like/dislike the things I like/dislike? Would I end up with him? Am I choosing the right one for me? Do you? NO. You don't even consider these things, let alone even think about it. Love is something that you just happen to do. Its out of blue.

Okay, I am sounding like I KNOW what love is. 😆

Now, as for Sanam, she is a simple girl with big dreams. She feels good with Rehan because she can talk with him about what she feels as she thinks he is SAME as me.
BUT, In her hardest times, she called Aahil NOT Rehan. A person in his hardest time or when he thinks this might be the last moments of life, calls only thta person who he/she trusts and love the most. She felt a connection towards him, whether she knows or not thats not the thing. You don't realise when you fall in love, how did you fall, why did you fall? Its a slow and sweet process of the realisation. Or in this case, a DECLARATION or ANNOUNCEMENT by SOMEONE to her 😆

As for Aahil, He is a "bad guy". As he is shown. He is bad because he talks rudely, arrogant, egoistic, But he is not bad. A troubled past is the cause for him to be like this. He has made a wall around him and doesn't want to break it nor want someone else to break in it. But. TADA! Someone has entered that wall and he is not able to decipher these feelings. She has gotten into his system that it hurts him. He is in a dilemma whether to express or not. Now he has seen Rehan with her, who has expressed his feelings to her, Aahil feels a little small in front of him. Like Why din''t I say that? He is now frustrated about this confusion. First he was confused about what are these feelings now he is confused about why does he have these feelings? He will remain confused till a long time 😆

As for Rehan, I am still not able form an opinion about him,. I mean I just don't know what this guy is upto. I am not able to connect with him. Yes, he was genuinely caring in last episode. But he seems to be very rushed to me. He din't even tell Sanam how he feels and now the marriage proposal too. I don't know how he is shaping up.

Very nice post.I somehow think that Rehan is not shady. When billi told him about the will and the fact that he was her son he said that he was satisfied and that the property should rightfuly go to Ahil. He's always been faithful to Ahil and feels sad that billi only considers him as the nawab's son.He did'nt want to read the will and billi called the lawyer because she was supremely confident that the will was in her favour.Rehan does'nt know that billi is going to transfer the property inher name.He did warn Ahil by asking him whether he really loved Nida or she was just a friend. He hinted to Ahil about the unsuitabiblity of Nida.
Rehan ,though he is billi's son grew up thinking he was an orphan brought up by billi and is grateful to her.He has always been a subordinate to Ahil and gave his suggestions in a respectful manner.
As for hi bringing gifts for Sanam and defending her he thinks that they both are employees of begum sahiba and secondly being in love gives one courage to do certain things one has'nt done before. He is just.Whenever Sanam rants about Ahil he points out that AHil has had a bad upbringing bbut he is a good person.Rehan alwaysplayed up Ahil's good points before Sanam.when Sanam was angry after the washing machine incident and Ahil comes back Rehan said that Ahil would never leave her.
I think Rehan is a nice guy unless he changes track out of jealousy, but that woul be too predictable. He does'nt seem to have inherited billi's qualities

Nice post ,Ahil Vs Rehan, like that title.

IMO- Ahil deserves her more and knows the real Sanam more than Rehan.
Rehan might know Sanam's favourite flowers and ice cream eating habits but Ahil knows how scared she is to die.
Rehan knows, Sanam takes care of her family. Ahil knows that, plus how much she needs to be taken care of.
Sanam has to tell Rehan," You dn't know me.I go crazy when I get angry". Ahil knows that very well.
It was Ahil who took care of her like she was family when she was sick.I don't remember Rehan even checking with her once, post her near death experience.
Agree with the other post talking about Rehan being bit shady. No one goes with a marriage proposal hiding the truth about his parents.I'm yet to watch y'day's episode, from the WU,seems that's what he did.
Rehan also comes across manipulative to me. When he stood up for Sanam @mehandhi he subtly let Tanveer know that he wants her to stay,by saying "Begum Sahiba is like my Mom".
Ahil is being harshly judged for the way he treated Sanam. Rehan didn't get slapped by Sanam & hit by her bouncer,Ahil was.IMO, given his position of power and money, he could have punished Sanam lot more than forcing her to make 100kg laddoos. Ahil had a rough start and had to battle, his feeling of unworthiness, his hasty engagement, the horror of finding the love of his life in his brother's arms, before accepting to himself that he loves her. Rehan had a smooth sailing when it comes to Sanam. His Mom is preparing the throne for him and he has easy access to the kitchen to chat up the new cook.Damn, he knows where the girl's family lives and he has charmed her Gran. Poor Ahil, tho' he saved Gran's life,he hasn't even seen her yet,to impress her.
IMO- Rehan doesn't stand a chance in A Vs R.My vote goes to Chote Nawab.
