Part 8- Womanizer
Kalpi went straight to Chawl after scolding Raghav. She needed answers from her parents that, why they have accepted money from a man like Raghav. Kamla was surprise that who put these lies in her head but she managed to calm down Kalpi by telling her that vehicle of accident was Raghav's car that doesn't mean he had hit her with his car. Kamla told her that Kalpi herself was sitting in his car as she used to work in his office and was going for some work in his car. Kamla has also taken the charge on herself for taking help as money from Raghav. Kalpi believed Kamla and thought of herself silly as she scolded Raghav without any reason. Kamla informed Kalpi that today Pakhya's fianc Rashmi was coming to meet her.
Kalpi, Kamla, Pakhi, Manda and Rashmi the whole women clan was chatting and laughing in Kamla's house. Kalpi and Rashmi were on bed and Pakhi and Kamla on sofa while Manda was standing beside Kalpi.
Rashmi: Kalpi! I know you have forgotten me completely but don't worry 15 days are left for marriage till then we will become rocking sister in laws.
Suddenly Pakhya entered in room and looking at women clan he smiled.
Pakhya: (teasingly) Whose home you all are planning to destroy. Some wise man has said, "Where 5 women meets, there one home get destroyed".
Kalpi: Dada, don't make excuses to see your fianc. We are not going to leave her alone for you. You have to wait for marriage for that. And you don't need to disturb us with your silly sayings.
Pakhya: O Really! Why don't you tell Manda Tai to leave the biggest disturbance on the Earth.
Manda: Kamla tai! See your son.
Kamla: (annoyingly)Pakhya.
Pakhya moved out from there after seeing no ray of hope to spend time with his fianc.

At Chawl(5 days before Pakhaya's marriage):
Kamla and Kalpi was alone at home, Kamla was making list of things to buy and Kalpi was helping her. Kamla's phone started ringing and she picked up the call, it was Raghav.
Raghav: Kamla ma, I've arranged the new car and coming there myself to give it to you.
Kamla: Raghav baba! You don't need to do that.
Raghav: It's my duty Kamla ma, you never let me do anything for you all and I agreed because of your self-respect but I've atleast this much right on my brother in law that I can gift him anything I want on his wedding.
Kamla: Ok! I will not stop you.
Kalpi was planning to go to bath, so she didn't concentrate on Kamla's conversation. After making list kamla went to the market for shopping. Kalpi was alone at home in the bathroom. Raghav came to the Chawl in car he wanted to gift Pakhya and headed to give the keys to any of family member. Raghav came to the door, door was closed but not locked. Raghav was trying to knock but door got open and Raghav entered in room. Seeing no one in room he thought of placing keys on table and writing down a note. Kalpi's bath has been completed and she was looking for clothes.
Kalpi(in her mind): Shit! I forgot my clothes on bed. Well no one is at home what if I go outside in towel for few minutes.
Kalpi wrapped the towel around her and came out of bathroom after taking few step she realized someone was in room. She looked in her right and seen Raghav there with wide eyes looking at her. When their eyes met Kalpi screamed and Paper and pen has fallen down from Raghav's hand. Kalpi with sudden shock tried to take her step back but her wet feet made her slip. And Raghav came to rescue her, in his arms with his hands on her waist. Kalpi was not able to think what to do, she was wet and in towel and in arms of a man who was looking into her eyes without blink. She
tried to get out of his hold with a jerk which made her slip again and instead of getting out of his hold she was more into him because this time he held more tight and closer than before. Raghav was holding her like a delicate piece of glass firmly but still soft on her body. Suddenly they heard voice of Kamla from outside. They both were in shock, without wasting a minute Raghav moved with Kalpi in bathroom and closed the door. During this sudden move Kalpi's towel knot got loose and towel was about to fall but Raghav got hold of it and he was holding towel covering Kalpi now.
Kalpi: (whispered with anger ) What are you doing?
Raghav: What do you want? Your aayi should see us like this.
Kalpi: No! I mean I am talking about (she looked at the towel and then to him).
Raghav given her hold of her towel. Kamla came to the bathroom door and asked.
Kamla: Kalpi! Are you in.
Kalpi: (tensed) Yes Aayi.
Kamla: Door was open Kalpi, you should take care. I forgot something came to take it back.
Kalpi: Ok! Aayi you are going naa.
Kamla: (confused) Yes.
Kalpi: Ok! Go fast.
Kamla: Ok! Ok!.
Kamla was still there and Raghav and Kalpi on hearing no sound came out of bathroom. Kamla was shocked to see them coming out of bathroom like this. Raghav and Kalpi eyes and mouth hung open finding Kamla still there, looking at them in shock.
Raghav: (looking on opposite angle than kalpi) I came to keep the car keys, there it is on table.
And Raghav left without looking back.
Kalpi(in her mind): How strange he is. He was with me in bathroom, any other man would have taken advantage of such situation and would have tried to touch a girl. But he was arghh, this man is making me crazy, why can't he give normal reaction as normal human. I am feeling like I am falling in love...argh, No ways Kalpi.
And whole day Kalpi tried to explain Kamla about the situation and her clean character, to which Kamla told her that she trusts her and Raghav both. Kalpi was relaxed that her mother didn't misunderstand her.

At temple (3 days before marriage):
Whole Jadhav clan was at temple for blessing of god before marriage. They completed their formalities there and was about to go but Kalpi forgot to take sacred thread from Pandit so she decided to go back while making her family wait for her outside. Kalpi was coming back after taking sacred thread, suddenly a tiny hand brushed her elbow which made her body shiver, a sensation ran through her body. Her heart skipped a beat and she turned to look at the owner of that hand. It was a baby girl resting in arms of a middle aged lady. When kalpi looked at the baby girl, she smiled at her. Girl was opening her arms as if she wanted to come in Kalpi's
arms. Kalpi was feeling some strange attraction towards that baby girl, she
wanted to take that girl in her arms. When the lady carrying the girl started
to move in opposite direction, the baby started crying. On hearing the crying baby Kalpi lost control over herself and ran towards the girl. She called the lady who was carrying the girl and asked her permission to carry that baby. Lady was giving uncomfortable look.
Kalpi: I will make her stop crying, please.
And lady passed the baby in Kalpi's arms and baby stopped crying in seconds. In between girl was whispering mama with her lisping tone. Kalpi was feeling like someone had put the world in her arms, like a cool breeze has been blown onto her heart. For few minutes Kalpi caressed that baby in her arms and baby got into sleep. Kalpi cupped her face and kissed her.
Lady: Wow! She has not slept for long time and you made her sleep in few minutes, did you ever meet her.
Kalpi: I...(long silence) don't know her.
Kalpi's heart was saying she was known her but mind was not recognizing her. When Kalpi was passing the girl again to the lady, baby's fingers got struck in collar of her suit. Kalpi took out the fingers, she never wanted to leave those fingers, but she did. Kalpi was feeling strange pain while watching that girl going far from her. When girl was out of sight, Kamla came from behind and placed her hand on Kalpi's shoulder.
Kamla: What happened Kalpi? Why you are standing here?
Kalpi: Aayi! I saw a baby girl, she was so cute. I felt a strange connection with her, I don't know why?
Kamla was getting tensed on hearing this from Kalpi but she covered up that tension under her smile.

At Office:
Raghav: I don't know what to do Sammy. The more I try to stay away from her, the more she comes closer to me.
Sammy: Now what happened?
Raghav: (with flashbacks of bathroom incident in his mind) Her eyes. I know she has started developing feelings for me, the last time I looked into her eyes, her eyes never lies.
Sammy: Raghav, She forgot you in her mind but her heart will always beat for you, you know that. Love always finds its way. But if you are so adamant on the point that she should stay away from you, it will be better if she will be the one who want to stay away from you.
Raghav: What do you mean?
Sammy: Girl like Kalpi will always fascinated by you, a man who helps her family, a man who cares for her and a man who stays in his limits. Stop being so good with her, and start being a jerk with her. I mean Kalpi will never like a womanizer. I hope you got my point.
Raghav: I think you are right.

At Chawl (One day before marriage: Evening):
It was a dance and music night of Pakhya's marriage. Kalpi and Pakhi have convinced Kamla and Vitthal for wedding ceremonies in Gujrati theme after so many arguments. Everything was ready, and guests had started arriving. Pakhi has spent her whole day in chawl in helping Jadhavs. Responsibility of whole expense for the decoration has taken by Raghav forcefully. A daandiya and Garba night was arranged as music and dance ceremony. It was 7 pm and music has been started to play.
A black car came in front of Chawl and Raghav and Sammy came out of it. Both of them were wearing sherwani, Raghav in chocolate brown and Sammy in Platinum white. Both of them have kindly enjoyed the welcome from Kamla and Vitthal. They were busy in watching dancing people and suddenly Raghav ears gone deaf and all he can hear was his heartbeat with very loud pitch. This was the sign for him that his Kalpi was there, he turned his eyes up to look at the door of Jhadhav's home. There she was, his Kalpi coming out and moving towards stairs with Pakhi. Kalpi was wearing a light pink lehanga with thick chocolate brown embroidery at the
bottom of lehanga. As a top she was wearing a sleeveless light pink blouse with deep neck. And finally she was covering her beautiful curves under light pink chunnari with the same thick chocolate brown embroidery at borders and her straightened long untied hairs were giving her gorgeous looks. Raghav was looking dreamily at her throughout when she was coming down through stairs. Kalpi looked at Raghav and given him a welcome smile and then moved with sticks in her hands towards the crowd who was dancing. Raghav came in his senses and given himself a tired look.
Raghav(in his mind): Raghav! Raghav! Don't get distracted. You have to do something today as Sammy said, to make Kalpi never fall in love with you. It is time to bring your plan in action.
And Raghav moved towards the dancing Kalpi , picking up the Daandiya sticks in his way. Raghav came in front of Kalpi with sticks and given a look of invitation for playing daandiya.
Raghav(in his mind): I don't know how to dance with this bloody sticks but still I am holding this Kalpi just make you hate me.
Kalpi has raised her hands to hit Raghav's sticks with her sticks, Raghav's one stick got out of hold of his hand and fallen down on ground.
Kalpi: You don't know, how to play Daandiya. Why are you playing then?
Raghav: (with mischievous look in his eyes, while staring kalpi bottom to top)I thought you will teach me.
Kalpi: (shockingly)What?
Raghav: (while coming closer to kalpi with intense gaze in his eyes) What is so shocking in that? (while touching her hand which was holding sticks)Can't you teach me? How to play it?
Kalpi was confused with his behavior and a little embarrassed for the way he was looking and touching her in middle of so many people.
Kalpi: (embarrassingly) NO! I can't.
And Kalpi left from there, she went upstairs and then into her room. Kalpi stood up in front of mirror and admired herself.
Kalpi(in her mind): Why he was behaving like a someone else, I thought he is a gentleman but today he was behaving like a moron. But why I am running from him, it's my place and I am not scared of him. I should go down and ignore him.
Kalpi turned to go back but her eyes got wide open when she found Raghav behind her, few hands away. Raghav was standing near door by taking its support with crossed arms and also crossing his legs and he was showing wildness in his eyes.
Kalpi: (shockingly) You.
Raghav left the support of door releasing his arms and he closed the door. Kalpi moved towards the door to open it but Raghav held her hand and twisted it behind her and pinned her to the door.
Kalpi: (scared) What's wrong with you?
Raghav: Wrong question.
Kalpi: What?
Raghav: (while moving his fingers from fingers of one of Kalpi's hand to her shoulder and keeping her hairs from front to behind her shoulder and moving his mouth close to her ears) Question should be Why I am here?
Kalpi: (while trying to get out of his hold) Leave me.
Raghav: (while pulling her to himself through her waist) I thought you love me.
Kalpi: Who told you this?
Raghav: (while coming so close to her face and looking into her eyes) Your eyes says it all sweetheart, the way you look at me. Well it's not your fault, my charms are something any woman can fall for. (while touching her lips through his finger) And don't worry I will make you happy as I made many women before.
Kalpi was shocked after hearing all this, not only shocked but she was angry also over Raghav's cheapness. Somehow she freed herself, out of his hand and moved to the one of the side of bed just to go away from Raghav. Raghav followed her shamelessly made her turn towards him by her waist. Kalpi was scared of his closeness she was thumping on his chest with her tiny fists to push him. Raghav moved his face on her right side and inhaled
her scent and that flowery fragrance of her, made Raghav to get spell bound with his wife's beauty and her mesmerizing charms. Now, his plan has already skipped his mind and instead of a fake womanizer, he turned into a loving husband who was craving for his wife's closeness for many days. When he has smelled her, Kalpi has closed her eyes and next thing she felt was his lips on hers. She wanted to stop him but the moment she felt his lips, she felt his lips was something that was known to her. Raghav has tightened his grip over kalpi's waist. Kalpi's hand was free now to push Raghav but she didn't push him instead she has unknowingly placed her hand on his heart feeling his heartbeat. Raghav opened his eyes in between to look and he saw, she was looking at him with unshed tears in her eyes. The reason for her tears was unknown for herself too. One drop of tear was about to shed from her eyes, this has made him more helpless. Raghav moved his hand to clear that tear and cupped her face into his hands and
kissed her more deeply and passionately. Kalpi didn't know that what pain she was keeping in her heart but this kiss was something that was soothing the thunder in her heart. They fallen on bed while kissing which was full of
marigold flowers, their fingers were twined with each other. Raghav moved his lips down her throat and she moaned on that gesture. Suddenly, Raghav's phone started ringing and both of them came out to the real world from their own world of love. They realized their positions, both were embarrassed. Raghav picked up his phone rushed out of room without looking back. Kalpi stood up from bed, she was in unexplainable situation. She sat on the bad looking down, then placed her palms on her face.
Kalpi(in her mind): This was not me.
Raghav came down through staircase and stood there, he looked at Sammy who was dancing with Pakhi.
Raghav(in his mind): (disgusted with himself) Stupid Sammy and his stupid idea.
