Dude, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart of Twilight, remember them ? The people who cannot act supposedly are having films premiering in Cannes and Sundance, getting critically acclaimed while Hillary Swank, two time Oscar winner and who won both times mind you is doing a freaking western with Tommy Lee Jones which may go straight to the $1 bin. Just look at her filmography, she was in a obscure HBO movie,not even something big as GOT. So there is the career of a two time Oscar winner while Leo who is never seen worthy of the Oscar goes from strength to strength.

Awards have their place, but ultimately it is the people who approve of an actor which is the biggest prize IMO.

The only time he is going to win an award is if his fan-group decide to pool in money and institute an award ceremony! No other way is it going it happen!😆

But seriously, I think he deserved it for Tere Naam...he was fantastic in the film, deffo an award winning performance.

Other than that, he has always been a mass hero...no pretentions of being anything other than that, so I don't think he even cares a bit about winning any of these awards! Any other actor would die to be in his place, giving one BB after another. Who cares about awards if your films are such a huge hit!
