Amrita & Tanu are not at war
Amrita Arora is upset over a report printed in a daily about a supposed cold war between Tanushree Dutta and her while working for Vikram Bhatt's Speed. It also stated that while Amrita got along with all the co-stars like Aftab Shivdasani, Zayed Khan, Sanjay Suri and Ashish Chaudhary, Tanushree chose to stay aloof and preferred to go home after work rather than party with her colleagues. Apparently Tanushree did not like the attention Amrita enjoyed, as reported in the article.
However, a source close to Amrita said, "The article about the so-called cold war between Amrita and Tanushree is absolutely baseless. Amrita is an easy going person by nature and it was but obvious that her co-stars got along with her, but that does not mean that Amrita and Tanushree could not stand each other. In fact, Amrita has high regard for Tanushree as an actor and all this talk about them ignoring each other is nonsense."
The source said that though there was not much interaction between Amrita and Tanushree, they have always been cordial to each other. "It is true that Amrita and Tanushree do not know each other well but that does not mean that Amrita has cold shouldered Tanushree and vice-versa. In fact they hardly know each other to give a cold shoulder."
