it was declared semi hit because when they calculate box office verdict it on the production cost+ marketing expense. Dstributors purchase price is not considered. That is why Ra.one was declared hit. Distributors lost loads in that movie

Jai Ho didn't even recover its budget, then how its termed as Average? Shouldn't it be a FLOP!
