July6:
Dear diary,
Besotted...Aahil Razaa Ibrahim knows he has lost it. He has lost his heart ...this is a new experience for him. He cannot take his eyes off Sanam- he can see only her in any room...
He is not a fool to not know what this is aboput...what he does not know yet is, just how powerful this emotion is going to be. Right now, he is flowing with the tide. He has no petty thoughts regarding class differences. He can accept Sanam as who she is...only, Sanam does not seem to know anything. Why is she like this?
Why can't she understand? Why is it that things have to be spelled out clearly to her? Is it not clear enough???
An angry outburst which has probably not even registered in his head, since he was under the influence...Aahil does not know that he has shooed a scared Sanam away from him. What he notices instead is that she is growing closer to Rehaan. Coming after his realisation that Rehaan himself had probably started weaving dreams around Sanam, this new development alarms him.
Why does he waste so much time thinking about a woman who can't even remember the most poignant moment in his entire life... Is he not a busy man?
But Aahil cannot help himself. He knows he will not know peace if he let Sanam out of his sight. Hum kahaaniyon ko nahi, kahaaniyan humein chunti hai...sounds really nice as a heavy duty dialogue...(lovely, BTW...)..But when kahaaniyan seem to go a little haywire, one could not be blamed for manipulating things to one's advantage. He comes up with the cutest excuses to keep Rehaan away from Sanam...and finally even chauffers up in desperation...at least he could kee an eye on them through the day! Despite Nida's intrusion, Aahil embarks on a journey into discovering himself...and Sanam...their past and their future... A few nights before, Aahil had experienced an inner healing, thanks to Sanam. The healing process grows...the man who was an atheist has become a believer..in his khudaa...in love...
Inside the dargah, he is mesmerised by the innocence...her tears could drown him...
Sanam explains her parents' love story to Rehaan...and Aahil can see the same love mirrored in their relationship... the confrontations that laid the foundation to their love...
She speaks about the threads that could bring him his destiny...and proceeds to do the same, to find that by all means his fate is already entwined with hers...
...they are bound by the threads of destiny...and he implores her to let it be...the threads would stay strong together. The moment they were unwinded, they could break...they belonged with each other...one could probably not exist without the other...
Aahil knows it somewhere in his heart- Sanam belongs with him. But sometimes love demands beyond blind trust...it yearns for proof...affirmation. It is still love...in its raw, emotional stage.
Title inspired from Ek Duje ke liye song...as the first glimpses of love grace Aahil... Of course, the essence should be taken...
Koshish Kar Ke Dekh Le
Dariya Saare Nadiya Saari
Dil Ki Lagi Nahin Bujhti,
Bujhti Hai Har Chingari
Solah Baras Ki Baali Umar Ko Salaam
Aye Pyar Teri Pehli Nazar Ko Salaam
Duniya Mein Sabse Pehle jisne Dil diya
Duniya ke Sabase Pehle Dilbarr ko Salaam
Dilse Nikalne Waale Raste Ka Shukariya
Dil Tak Pahunchne Wali Dagar Ko Salaam
Aye Pyar Teri ...
Jis Mein Jawaan Hokar Badnaam Hum Huye
Us Shehar Us Gali Us Ghar Ko Salaam
Jisne Humein Milaaya, Jisne Juda Kiya
Us Waqt, Us Ghadi, Us Pal Ko Salaam
Aye Pyar Teri...
Milte Rahe Yahan Hum Yeh Hai Jahan Likha
Us Likhavat Ki Jero Jabar Ko Salaam
In Mast Gehri Gehri Aankhon Ke Jheel Mein
Jisne Humein Duboya Us Bhanwar Ko Salaam
Ghoonghat Ko Todkar Jo Sarse Sarak Gayi
Aisi Nigodi Dhani Chunar Ko Salam
Aye Pyar Teri...
Ulfat Ke Dushmano Ne Koshish Hazar Ki
Phir Bhi Nahin Jhuki Jo Us Nazar Ko Salaam
Aye Pyar Teri...
