Shraddha Kapoor meets lensmen, truce called

The ban imposed on Shraddha Kapoor by press photographers was lifted after the actor met the shutterbugs on Friday evening to resolve the imbroglio. Shraddha, accompanied by representatives from her PR firm, met the photographers at a restaurant in Juhu and apologised for her behavior.

Over cups of coffee and chilled iced tea the Ek Villain actor and photographers discussed the issue at hand. Last week at a press meet to celebrate the success of Ek Villain, press photographers had decided to unanimously boycott the petite actress.

The flashbulbs had a strong enough reason for taking such an extreme step. A few days ago during the umpteen events that followed the release of Ek Villain, Shraddha played a spoilsport. Even after many requests from the shutterbugs she would turn a deaf ear to their requests for photographs. She did this on several occasions. At times her manager would block their view and prevent her from being clicked. This had infuriated the shutterbugs and they decided to teach Shraddha a lesson.

At the meeting to solve the imbroglio between the two parties the photographers recounted to Shraddha the several recent occasions where she had refused to pose for photographs. At another TV event her manager had asked them to wait for more than two hours if they wanted a picture. The photographers told her that at times they were tipped of about the presence of the Ek Villian actors. All others patiently posed for pictures while Shraddha would fled from the scene.

The photographers told her that they do not have one good photograph of the actor from her recent public outings because of this. Shraddha heard them out and apologized to them saying, "It was never my intention to not pose for pictures. Sometimes I am no wearing make-up so perhaps I may have not posed for you guys." The photographs on their part told her, "If it is a success party for a film, you are well aware that there is going to be media at the event?"

Admitting her mistake Shraddha said, "Sometimes the fact that you guys are waiting for a photograph is not even communicated to the actors. I think there has been some miscommunication and I am going to be careful about it in the future."

This truce with the photographs is important for Shraddha as the promo of her next film Haider is expected to be released at a press event soon. Also with the success of Ek Villian, Shraddha's brand equity has gone up and she will be chased for more brand endorsements in the future. Not having the shutterbugs click you is not something she can afford at this juncture of her career.

Shraddha was clicked by the photographers at the party thrown at Shaad Randhawa's bungalow yesterday night.
