This is episode 132. Do Enjoy!!

Recap - Rudra interacts with the other witness of the acid attack - Mythili. Not able to extract much, he and Aman question local goons & Rudra concludes that Tejawat has nothing to do with the acid attack on Paro. Rudra and Paro share light, cute moments. He repents not having accompanied her to the market. The stalker makes his presence felt - leaves a threatening note with their doll in a bad shape/makes a call on Rudra's phone and puts-off a Diya, on the occasion of Teej. Rudra instructs Mala and Mythili not to let Paro know about the mishappenings.

Scene 1 A follow-up of the previous episode's last scene, Paro is trying to figure out what's happening and they cover-up and Rudra manages to upset his Shrimati, by asking her not to fast on the occasion of Teej.

Paro - Sab theek toh hai?

Paro - Everthing is fine, right?

Mala - Haan, Paro. Sab theek hai. (Rudra quickly discards the tattered doll, rolled in a pagadi).

Bas, voh Rudra ko chai chahyiae thi.

Mala - Yes, Paro. Everything is fine. That, Rudra just wanted his morning tea.

Mythili - A.. Haan, aur main Devar ji sa se keh rahi thi ki, aaj Teej ka thyohaar hai. Hum saari aauraton ne vrat rakha hua hai.

Mythili - Well.. Yes. And I was just chit chatting, and mentioning that today is the festival of Teej. All, we ladies have kept fasts.

Rudra - Haan, aur main yeh keh raha tha ki um.. , Paro yeh vrat nahi rakhegi

Rudra - Yes, and I was just mentioning that, well.. Paro is not going to fast.

Paro - Lekin?

Paro - But?

Rudra - Ab keh diya na? Nahi rakhegi, toh bas nahi rakhegi.

Rudra - Now I just said so, right? No fasting, thus, no fasting.

She is a bit taken aback and surprised .

Rudra - Aur tu, yahan bahar kya kar rahi hai? Jaa, andar jaa. Aaram kar!

Rudra - And you, what are you doing here, outside? Go, get inside, go take rest!

Scene 2 - The scene shifts to PaRud's room, she explains about Teej, religion, whilst he tends to her wound.

Rudra updates Aman on the open threats being made by the stalker, he is on the phone, whilst entering his room.

Rudra - Chaukhana reh, Aman. Har jagah dhoondh, mere liye pata lagana bahut jaroori hai ki..

Rudra - Stay alert, Amna. Search everywhere, it is crucial for me to know about..

He sees Paro busy rearranging her bangles,

Rudra (throws aside his phone) - Kya kar rahi hai yeh, tu? Ja, jaakar let.

Rudra - What is it that you are doing? Go, go lie down!

Paro(in a calm way) - Aapko, kaam par nahi jaana? Ya phir, aapne bhir vrat rakha hai!?

Paro - Don't you have to leave for work/duty/office? Or, is it that, you too have kept a fast?

Rudra(a bit irritated) - Main ne koi, vrat-vat nahi rakha hai! Aur tujhe bhi nahi rakhna hai.

Rudra - I have not kept any sort of fast! And even you aren't supposed to.

Rudra (pointing to the bed) - Bhait yahan pe!

Rudra - Sit right here!

He helps her get comfortable, lifts her legs and places them on the bed and gets to the medicine box to tend to her wounds.

Paro(busy with explaining religion, to the disinterested Rudra) - Vaise, aapko pata hai? Maa Parvati ne, saalon tak tapasya ki. Tab jaake, unhe Shiv-ji mile. Iss liye, yeh vrat..

Paro - By the way, did you know? Maa Parvati had to penance for years, and then alone did she accure, her Lord Shiva. That is why, this fast...

Rudra(still tending to her wound) - Yeh chhalta hua bhram na, apne paas hi rakh. Pehle hi apna chuka hoon tujhe. Tujhe, iss vrat ki koi jazoorat nahi hai.

Rudra - Oh please! Kindly keep this delusional theories to youself. I have whole-heartedly accepted/own you. And, you needn't keep this fast.

Paro(sensing his mood, yet rambles on) - Haan, Haan. Nahi rakh rahi, vrat. Main toh bas aise hi keh rahi thi. Saari saadi auratein, iss liye yeh vrat rakhti hain taaki, unhe bhi Maa Parvati..

Paro - Yes, ofcourse. I am not going to fast. I was just simply stating the fact. All the married women, go ahead and fast, so that even they, like Maa Parvati..

She goes on, but what specifically she said, that attracted Rudra ji ka attention, that too like this...

Paro -... aur Shiv-ji ki taran pati, aur prem se bhari Saadi ka sukh...

Paro - ...and for a husband, like Lord Shiv, can hope to have a marriage with strong bonding, filled with love...

His expression was enough, to have Paro stop abruptly and her attention is diverted.

I can see that you are catching up on he week's episodes and coming up with the fantastic scene-by-scene written update...

Makes ul for a nice recollection of the episode gone by and the pics give the added effect...

Well, for me it is effects as I meant it as the overall presentation of the post that is enhanced due to the use of the pics... Am I making any sense to you??? Maybe not... If I may and you don't mind, I would like to post the meanings and implications of both the words -

Scene 3 Paro notices that her gudiya is missing. She is busy searching for it, while Rudra, Napster ji ke terms mein, uses his feminine side, (knowing she is vulnerable to proximity, doesn't mind using girlie talk) and distracts Paro.

Paro makes a note of something,

Paro - Mhaari gudiya, kahan hai?

Paro - Where is my doll?

Rudra senses her concern, worry while she still talks.

Paro - Main toh use bhi tayar karne wali thi.

Paro - I was going to give her too a makeover.

She gets up from the bed, with a somewhat tensed Rudra lurking,having he had hid the doll and did not want her to find it.

Still she limps around, and he tries to stall the question that she may ultimately ask - please help in finding the doll.

Paro (seeming to worry even further) - Major Saab, mhaari gudiya kahan chali gayi? Yahin toh ralhi thi, kal raat.

Paro - Major Saab. where did my doll go? (Meaning how did it get misplaced) It was around here only.

Paro is frantically busy searching for the doll while Rudra is trying to figure out how to stop the same.

Rudra (in his mind) - Kuch bhi karke, mujhe Paro ka dhyan, gudiya dhoondne se hatana hoga.

Rudra - What ever maybe, I have to do something, to distract Paro from searching the doll.

She is in no mood of backing down, she is lifting-shifting all the bedspreads, while Rudra gets up and moves towards her.

He catches her off-guard, yet her mind is elsewhere.

He draws her in closer, knowing she wouldn't rest until she had found her doll.

Rudra sensing she is still on the hunt and not responding to his proximity, goes all mellow and is trying his best to catch her attention, albeit distract her.

Rudra (in a sexy tone, given the need of the hour for it) - Kya keh rahi thi?

Rudra - What were you just saying?

Rudra has really has got his A-game on, trying to use romance to divert her attention, and manages to, to a certain extent.

Rudra(sweetly) - Voh, kya karti hain, saari patnian?

Rudra - Well.. what do those wives do? (referring to her earlier comment)

Paro - Voh.. Kamna ki, ki unhe bhi saadi ka suk..

Paro - Well.. that hoping that they have all the happiness in their marr...

Paro still gets drawn away about the absence of her doll, & Rudra ji's gesture was not doing the trick.

Paro - Mhaari gudiya, kahan chali gayi!?

Paro - My doll, where is it now?

Rudra seems to notice the same and steps up his game, he swiftly turns her around.

Rudra (in a husky tone) - Lagta hai, mujhe tapasya karni padegi.

Rudra - Looks like, I am the one who is to penance. (Hope the verb is used right)

Now he has her undivided attention.

Paro - Tapasya, kyun?

Paro - Penance, why?

Rudra - Shayad tabhi manegi, tu? Honeymoon, par?

Rudra - Probably, only then you would agree? For the honeymoon?

Rudra (knowing she is intimidated by his sweet talk) - Bhool gayi?

Rudra - Did you forget?

Rudra (is now, officially in a romantic mood & is nt using it as a tool, to divert her attention) - Shaadi ke baad, akele, chutti. Shayad, tapasya hi karni padegi, mujhe!

Rudra - After marriage, all alone, holiday/vacation. I guess, I will after all, have to penance.

Paro (now in sync with Rudra's mood) - Major Saab, vrat ko lekar aisa mazak nahi karte!

Paro - Major Saab, don't mock the fast(vrat)!

Rudra (in a sexy tone) - Shh.. Mooh bandh.

Rudra - Hush.. Be Quiet!

He does know how to mix business with pleasure! Wait, it doesn't stop there.

Wow, did he just smell her hair! And we were all hoping for a cute peck/kiss.

(I guess the SBS/SBB had a varied version of the same, probably the one that should have aired!)

Ha Ha!! Well I have to be bluntly honest, I am still figuring out the first sentence, given I am not the daughter of an English Lit Prof!! 😆😆

Sorry I did not quote the meanings, given they were occupying quite some space, hope you don't mind. Thanks again for the appreciation, it is helping me out, stay awake and carry on and not doze off on a lazy afternoon!!

And I more than happy to learn the exact difference between effects and affects, words that I, and many might mix up!! Thanks for that!!
