Scene 12 -
Samrat storms into the living room of the Sisodia's, bothered by the fact that Mohini tricked him.
He rushes along the stairs and confronts her.
Samrat - Maa sa, main jaa taha hoon!
Samrat - Maa sa, I am leaving!
He waits no time and leaves the house as well as the Sisodia's in bewilderment.
Mohini (trying to stop him, worried) - Samrat?
Mr S - Yeh, Samrat nu ke huye? (To Mrs S) - Kahin aisa na hua ki, Shatabdi ne kuch..
Mr S - Well, What happened to Samrat? Did something happen, and did Shatabdi say something..
Mohini (trying to handle the mood swings & reactions of Samrat) - Nahi Nahi, aisa kuch nahi. Voh, aaj kal ke chore-choriyon ko toh aap jante hi ji. Chot-choti baaton par phoodakne maarne lag jaate hain ji. Main samjhati hoon use, aap paresan mat hoyiae.
Mohini - No, No. No such thing. Well, today's young generation, you know them, right? Small, tiny things bother them, and they start jumping around. I will talk to him, make him understand, you please don't worry.
Taking their leave,
Mohini - A.. Acha. Namaskar. Main phone karti hoon. A.. Namaskar.
Mohini - O.. Okay, bye. I will give you a call.. O.. Bye.
Sumer and Mohini qucikly follow Samrat, and try to stop him.
Sumer (vcalling out loud) - Bhai sa? Ladki pasand nahi aayi kya? Kya hua?
Sumer - Brother? Did you not like the girl? What happened?
Sumer makes Samrat even more angry and before he is about to respond,
Mohini - Samrat! (Walks towards him) Yeh kya tareeka hai, huh? Doosron ke saamne, iss taran..
Mohini - Samrat! What kind of behaviour was that!, Hmm? In front of others, this way..
Samrat (Trying to defend his abrupt storming out) - Maa sa, Uss ladki ko lagta hai ki, hum vyapahaar ke liye nahi, shaadi ka prastaav lekar aayen hain!
Samrat - Maa sa, That girl.. She thinks, that we weren't there for buisness, but, were there with a marriage propasal...
Mohini is furious, thinking her plan didn't work out exactly as planned. He goes on.
Samrat - A.. Aur voh bhi.. Mhaare liye!!? Maa sa, kya ho raha hai, yahan par?
Samrat - Well. And that to.. involving me? Maa sa, what is going on, over here?
Mohini (accepting the fact, trying to guilt-trip and provoke him) - Haaan. Toh isme galat kya hai? Byaah ki baat kar rahi thi na, thaare saath? Koi tere pairon mein ghungroo toh nahi baandh rahi thi!
Mohini - Yess.. So what is wrong with that? I was talking about mere marriage, with you and not tying anklets to your feet (Meaning - What's the big deal!).
Samrat is 😲 and stays so, Mohini continues to further provoke him.
Mohini - Maalom tha mhane, main issi baat ke liye, tane yahan laayi thi. Agar main, thaare se, vypahaar ki baat nahi kehti, toh tu kabhi nahi mannta mhaare saath yahan aane ke liye!
Mohini - I damn well knew, that this is what I brought you here for. If at all, I hadn't tricked you, telling it's about buisness, you would never have agreed to come along.
Samrat is still in 😲 and 💔en that his Maa sa, would take such extreme measures to seperate him from Mythili.
Samrat - M.. Maa sa, main Shaadi-shuda hoon!
Samrat - M.. Maa sa, I am happily married.
Mohini - This is what she was waiting for - bring up Mythili in this heated one-sided conversation.
Mohini - Shaadi - Shuda!! Ek banjhadi ke saath! Ek aisi aurat ke saath, jo kabhi, bapu sa kehne wala thaari godh mein nahi daal sakti! Jo manhoos hai! Badkismat hai, thaare liye!
Mohini - Happily - married!!? With a banjadi (sorry no idea, a mean word definitely, a swear-in of some sort) To such a woman, who never, will be be able to bear a child, place a child in your lap who would call you a father! Who is sinister, is a bad omen for you!
Samrat is left baffled by his Maa sa's nasty comments about his wife!
