Scene 5 - The market scene, acid attack

Mythili - Hey Bhagwaan! Ab toh bhole baba hi sab theek karen. Paro, agar devar ji sa ko pata chala na ki, toone aur thayi ji sa ne milke yeh natak kiya tha na toh, tu jannti hai na unka gussa.

Bhole baba hi bachaye unke taandav se.

Mythili - Oh Gosh! Now only Bholebaba can make things right. Paro, if Devar ji sa (brother-inlaw) gets to know that you and Thayi ji sa(Aunty) were acting (making a fool out of him), then you know na, of his anger. Only Bhole Baba can rescue you from his taandav. (A form of Shivji's dance)

Paro - He He..

Mythili - Thaare ko hassi suuj rahi hai!?

Mythili - You find that funny!?

Paro - Kuch nahi hoga, jija.

Paro - Don't worry, nothing will happen, sis.

Mythili - Kya kuch nahi hoga? A.. Ab sabzi le lete hain, pehle. A.. Ab bhaiya, baigan kaise diye?

Mythili - What nothing will happen? A.. Okay, let gets buy some vegetables first. Brother, how is the brinjal? (Meaning asking the rate for it)

Bhaiya, the sabziwala - Baigan 20 rupey kilo.

The vegetable vendor - Brinjal? Rs 20 per kilo.

Mythili - Ek kilo de dijiye.

Mythili - Please make that a kilo.

The stalker/ someone is getting closer to the bangle stand and Paro is busy choosing

The BG music (a whistle kind of one) is being played and we cannot hear Paro's voice.

Paro (to the choodi wala)- Aap voh dikhayiae, aur voh bhi dijiye.

Paro (to the ones selling bangles)- Please show me that (pointing at something she has her eye on) and yes, give me that.

After the man, simply teases her, brushes her intentionally.

Paro - Dikhayi nhai deta, aapko?

Paro - Can't you see?

The man simply keeps moving and does not turn back to apologize.

Mythili (Choodi wale se) - V.. Voh choodi de dijiye.

Mythili (to Paro) - Leave it, Paro. Come let's go. Come on.

Mythili (to the bangle vendor) - O.. Okay please give us the bangles.

The mystery man gets ready to attack, gets on his bike, starts the vehicle. Intimidating them by acclerating,

Mythili (dari hui, choodiwale se) - Y. Yeh li jiye Bhaiya, C. Chal Paro.

Mythili(scared, to the bangle vendor) - A.. Okay here take this, brother. (Handing over some money). C.. Come on, Paro. Lets go.

He comes closer, reaches for the Acid bulb and does not hesitate and aims it at Paro's face!!

Mythili & Paro scream - AAAHHH!!!

Mythili - P.. Paro!!! Paro? Paro? Mhaari madad kijiye na koi! Dekhiye na jal raha hai! Paro!

Scene 6 - Rudra comes to know of the acid attack

Tring Tring..

Rudra picks up the call, whilst busy going through his file.

Rudra (in a casual tone) - Haan, babu sa? Boliye?

Rudra - Yes, father? Tell me?

Dilsher (quite worried)- V.. Vo.. Voh.. Rudra, beta? Voh.. P.. Pa.. Parvati ko..

Dilsher - Well.. Well.. Th.. That.. Rudra, son? That.. P.. Pa.. Parvati is..

Rudra (with a tone of concern) - Kya hua?

Rudra - What happened?

Dilsher - D.. Darsal.. V.. Voh..

Dilsher - W.. Well.. Th.. That..

Rudra - Ba..

Rudra - Fa...

Before he is able to say a thing, Mala snatches the phone from Dilsher and,

Mala - Rudra! Umm.. Voh.. Baazaar mein na, kissi ne Parvati par tehzaab phenkh diya!

Mala - Rudra, well.. that.. Someone threw acid on Parvati while she was in the market!

The BG music in on and Rudra is in the state of shock, having just heard that Paro was hurt.

The BG music starts getting louder and his eyes are a dead giveaway of the worry he is in.

Mala cuts the call.

Rudra still in the utmost state of shock, is unable to comprehend what just happened.

He drops his phone in shock, bursts out of the room, runs & stumbles and rushes to reach home, to Paro.

The BG music is pretty loud, given the intensity.

Scene 7 - Rudra rushes and is on the way to his home and is reminded of his past, his recent fond memories shared/spent with Paro.

The BG music is a nice tune, a new one I presume. It matches the intensity, the depth of what he is feeling, at this moment.

Paro (Voice Over) - Aapko chott kaise pahuncha sakti hoon? Main toh aapse, itna pyaar karti hoon.

Paro (Voice Over) - How would I dare hurt you? I love you, so damn much! (Sry abt the translation, couldn't think of anything else)

Mala (Voice Over) - Kissi ne, Parvati par tehzaab phenk diya.

Mala (Voice Over) - Someone, threw acid at Parvati.

He is furious, and shifts gears, accelerates and tries to reach home faster. .

Scene 8 - Rudra and the rest of the family tend to the hurt Paro and are too in for a shock

He hits the brakes hard, jumps out of his jeep, runs, stumbles and reaches the room.

Rudra - Paro! Paro?

BG - AAAHHHAAAHHHAAAOOO

BG - AAHHHAAAooOAAAOOOAAAHHH

BG - AAAoooaaa

Danveer - Voh (AAAHHH) theek hai beta. (AAA)

Danveer - Well, she is fine, son. Don't worry.

Doctor - Kismat acchi hai ki, acid pair par gira. Zyaada chott nahi lagi.Haan, thoda sadma zaroor laga hai. Main ne, dawaayian di hai. Aur haan, main ne neend ka injection diya hai. Thodi der so lengi tho, jaldi theek ho jaayegi. Theek hai?

Doctor - Destiny was quite good, the acid came in contact with her feet only. There is not much harm/damage. Yes, she is in a bit of shock. I have prescribed the neccessary medicines. And yes, I have injected her with a dose, so that she can sleep it off. The more she rests, the sooner she will heal. alright?

Danveer - Aa, aayiae doctor saab, main aapko chodd deta hoon.

Davnveer - Okay, please come doctor, let me drop you off.

Once the doctor takes a leave,

Mala (in a stern manner) - Samrat? Mythili ko lekar apne kamre mein jaao.

Mala - Samrat? Please accompany Mythili to your room.

He nods and she looks over to Dilsher

Mala - Iss waqt Paro ko, sabse zyaada zaroorat, Rudra ki hai.

Mala - At this moment, Paro is in grave need of Rudra's support.

All of them silently disperse and let's Rudra take charge.

Scene 8 - Rudra comforts her, consoles her, reassures her and in the process humbly tries to extract any info about her attacker

Comes closer sits beside her,

Rudra - Paro..

She being grief-stricken is unable to hold back and hugs him, while crying too.

Rudra - Sh... Shhh.. Sh... Shhh.. Shaant. Bas, bas. Main aa gaya, na? Sab theek hai, bas. Bas, bas..

Rudra - Sh.. Hush.. Sh.. Shhh... quiet.. Enough, stop.. I am here, right? Everything is fine, enough.. Stop, enough..

Having had her stop, reduced her worry, he tries to gently ask her about the attacker.

Rudra - Dekha tha, uska chehra?

Rudra - Did you catch a glance of his face?

Paro is terrified, terrorised.

Rudra - Ha.. Shush.. Sh.. Shh.. Ah.. Okay. okay. Hush.. Hush.. Shu. stop, enough, enough.. Nothing is going to happen, stop..

He manages to stop her from crying, and reassures her, rocking, swaying her like a baby in his arms.

Once he has her attention, even for a minute, he slowly goes ahead and questions her.

Rudra - Acha, idhar dekh. Dekh idhar, main aa gaya hoon na. Main hoon na, tere paas? Hmm? Ghabra matt, surakshit hai tu ek dum, kuch nahi hone doonga, Hmm?

Rudra - Okay, look here. Look at me, I have come, right? I am here, right next to you, then? Don't worry, you are in no danger, with me on your side, I will not let anything bad happen to you, alright?

Having garnered her attention and reassurance,

Rudra - Aadmi tha?

Rudra - Was it a man?

Paro nods her head in a yes.

She musters up courage, and slowly tries to narrate what happened.

Paro - H.. Huh. V.. voh phatphati par aaya tha.

Paro - H.. Huh.. Wel.. Well.. He arrived on a bike..

Rudra gives an encouraging nod,

Paro - Ch.. Chehra nahi dekh paayi.. A.. aur.. H.. Helmet pehna hua tha. H.. Ha.. A.. au.. aur sab kuch itni jaldi-jaldi ho gaya k.. ki..

Paro - fa... face, I wasn't able to get a look.. H..he was wearing a helmet. A.. And.. everything happened so fast tha.. that.. I...

She breaks down and falls back in his arms to seek comfort..

Rudra - Shant, main hoon na? Kucch nahi hoga.Mere rehte, koi kucch nahi kar sakta tera. Bas.. Shant, shant, sh.. Shh..

Rudra - Quiet.. I am here, right? Nothing bad can happen, with my prescene, no one can dare harm/hurt you. Sh.. Sh.. enough.

Rudra pats her and almost puts her to sleep, she has peace of mind before the injected dose starts to take over. She starts feeling drowsy and closes her eyes.

He slowly, carefully, gently lays her head on the pillow and allows her to rest.

He gets furious, just thinking about the so-called mysterious stalker and in rage to know about his intentions.

He is interrupted by a call from Aman, while the entire Ranawat khaandan is busy waiting for updates in the corridor/ centre room.

Rudra - Haan, Aman? Tejawat ki koi khabar? Toh apne aankh aur kaan khol ke dhoond.Pura vishvaas hai mujhe, laaut aaya hai vo. Iss ne Paro par hamla karne ki koshish ki. Vishvaas hai mujhe iss mein ussi ka haath hai.Kismat uski acchi hogi ki, agar mera vishvaas galat saabit hoga.Kyun ki, agar sahi saabit hua na, toh choddunga nahi. Bhool jaaunga ki, voh kiska kya lagta hai! Kyunki sawaal, Meri Paro ka hai!

Rudra - Yes, Aman. Any news/updates on Tejawat? If not, then open your eyes and ears and start searching. I am pretty sure, that he has returned/made a comeback. He tried to harm Paro. I am dam sure, he has something or the other to do with all of this. His fate would be great, if my belief is held untrue, if, god forbid, it turns true, I will eat him up alive/kill him/murder him. I will not be reminded of the fact that, he is related to anyone/someone I know. Because, it is the question of My Wife, Paro.
