Just watched today's episode girls...it was quite mediocre ...wasn't it?
Nothing much was going on...at least it seemed like nothing much...

The bad guy was nabbed in less than 1/2 the episode ...and that was that...
All wrapped up...FINITO...
What next? Ok...the real bad guy makes an entry now...
Calls up Rudy ...before he does the harm...
Hmmm...looks like he has a score to settle with Rudy not Paro...Remember Die hard anyone? It is John McClane the guy is after...as obvious by all the taunts...on the phone...

The big event was supposedly the heros birthday...which happens on the same day as the birthday of our nation...4th of July...Hmmm...I could have sworn they mentioned another birthday in the past, to suggest he was a LEO not a CANCER...but I could be mistaken...

So Paro is planning a surprise party for him I guess...

There was all the natak (once again) to keep it a surprise...
Of course for good intentions...but this one is always pretending and not upfront...
Fine quality to have to be with a guy with trust issues...😲
Oh well...! Perhaps I am reading too much into it...

Rudy sulking about his B'day...that I found natural...both my alpha men want a lot of pampering and attention...so this is not surprising...But they are also so absolutely sure of themselves...they hardly yield...Rudy seems to be a mixed bag...,,,now a days...He yields much more than I have seen any of the alphas I have experienced...just not in their grain...

Whatever it is...I miss the spark and sexual tension...between the couple...These two look like they are close to their 25th wedding anniversary...😲

Mala and Rudy...

MADRA any one?😆 Or are we going with RuLa...Gosh both sound so awful...I'll take MADRA...it is close to madre...

OK guys whatever I may complain about in this show...but I love watching Rudy and his honest expressions...which are so real...and so consistent...

Today the scene with Mala was just played awesomely (is that a word?) by Ashsih...
When Mala paused for a moment to tell him how proud she was of him...the hesitation in accepting her...and her words...but not rejecting her at the same time ...without any dialogues...
I will say it takes a fine actor to show that complexity of emotions so well...just through his expressions...
Well done Ashsih...👏 Your gurus should be proud of training you so well...and you for executing and applying what you have learned so appropriately...

Sush, Thank You, for opening the thread ...🤗

-----------UnReserved-----------

Sush, lovely post. Form the way he taunts Rudra during the phone conversation... I too felt more like the Stalker has issue with Rudra than with Paro... And yup, they did change Rudra's B'day.. Earlier it was 31st July, which got preponed to 4th for writers convenience 😆. I also liked Sulking Rudra... And what you said about 25th Aniversary couple... Bang On😆

The hide and seek between the Minion and Rudra continued for sometime and like in any other drama Rudra caught the villain in the nick of time. Dramebaaz CV's😛. And, Rudra hysterically repeating, "Meri Paro ko thakleef dega... Meri Paro ko" gave me goosebumps... It felt as if all the tension that he carried regarding Paro's safety came out at that moment...

I like the fact that Paro totally trusts her husband.. But CV's just a word... This doesn't justify you showing Paro not at all worried about the Stalker in Thursday's episode... Trusting someone with your life doesn't mean you don't worry. Sorry, will not talk about this again today.😛

Any way, I loved Mala and Rudra scene... It was nice, touching and well done...The subtle way in which Mala paused and spoke was nice... When she said she is Proud of her son. It showed in her voice, her words and her being. "Garv ho raha hai ki tu mera beta hai... Garv kya gamand ho raha hai." Awesome dialogue 👍🏼. Sadia was good in that scene. The way he froze to Mala's words... To many emotions overflowing at once... Still very much aware of her presence... Gently moving his head away from her hand... Silently letting her know he was still not ready to accept her... Ashish was AWESOME in that scene. 👏

When Mala said, "Why do I see mischief in your eyes?" I giggled 😛... As I saw it too.. Sanaya somehow perfectly manages getting that twinkle in her eyes... CV's please use her talent well. Poor Rudra, so desperately waiting for his wife's wishes and Paro was playing games with him... Paro, not cool.. How can you do this to your Major Saab?😉He looked really disappointed thinking that she forgot his Birth Day... Why wouldn't he be? Anyone would. It was not somebody.. It was his Paro who forgot.. Also his expectant eyes when she calls his name.. And his disappointment when she asks him to switch off the lights. Humara Major Saab was being played😳.. And, not just by Paro but his whole family. They all were conspiring against BSD's finest Major.. That too on his B'Day ... I felt so bad for him... Bechara Rudra... Paro, you better make it up to him tomorrow. And CV's, you better not make this too about Stalker... like Teej. Make it special for our Rudra and Paro. Make it up to your viewers, for the Teej you spoiled.😕

About Satabdhi... I don't know... I have mixed feelings about her scenes today... Was it funny?? May be. But seriously, do a girl come and order around the house of a man who came to see her?😕 Sumeer was very funny as ever😆. Even thought I didn't like the Maithili = Gaay... It was fun to see him get beaten up by Mohini. And, I say it again... Satabdhi is perfect for Sumeer... They make a hilarious pair. I would have liked it if Samrat had told Maithili about Satabdhi without keeping her in the dark... But I also understand he did it so that Maithili doesn't get more hurt than she already was... 🤔

So, after catching the Minion... Everyone rejoiced that the culprit was caught... But it is not that easy.. Is it? That one phone call brought back all of Rudra's stress, tension and worry for his Paro😔. The shock on his face when Stalker says I am in your haveli... Perfect expressions from Ashish... 👏

So finally on Monday.. we get to finally see the Villain... Thank God... I couldn't take this build up anymore😆

Shweta, Awesome Collages as always.

Good post Sush.

Yes Rudra's birthday was said to be on the 31st of July...they changed it now.

And Rudra sulking about his birthday...could have been understandable...and seen as natural...if he was your typical alpha male. But he's not. He had 15 years of lonely birthdays, devoid of his mother while an overbearing father's presence suffocated him. I would not think of birthdays so fondly when the reasons they are typically so special were snatched away from me for 15 long, sad years. It is psychologically not consistent.

You have a point sister...but ALL his issues were taken care of in 1/2 episode CVs devoted to him finding and accepting the truth about Mala leaving...remember?😆

After all...there are more important things that need screen space...like Shatabdi and her love of aachar...😛.

I think differently. He loved birthdays as a child. And he had none worthy of remembering, presumably, with his Dad. But oerhaps they were better during his BSD training days, borne up by the fact that his buddy from the BSD messaged him around midnight. Also, the army does make a bit of a deal about such things, because in a job where its never certain that you will see your next birthday, it makes sense to keep track of things.

Rudras demons are disappearing. He is reverting to the person he used to be from the inside out. His sense of entitlement is returning. It is completely NATURAL for him to expect the woman who knows what he wants, what he needs, emotionally, physically ( food, clothing, nursing etc) before he knows, his likes and dislikes, who knows that he loves his dark glasses, his bike, who fangirls over him, to remember his birthday. And he suspects her naatak, but this time she fools him.

It is psychologically quite consistent. And remember, he does not make a very big deal out of it. He is just gruff, and he goes his way. Within the confines of the premise of this story, he is doing OK.

🤣

Sush! Thanks for the good laugh!

Yup it seems like Paro's tactics have worked wonders! 😆 Why do therapists exist, they are clearly not needed. 🤪

Inconsistent characterization and their lack of continuity is what Rudra is a victim of right now...they've used and dried out Paro now...time to butcher the last well-etched character!! 😃 🥳

Also Shatabdi...would it have killed the CVs to make her more realistic? She is dressed like a city woman in a village? Or did I miss something and she is actually from the city? 😕 Anyway, it would have been a lot more interesting to see her dressed like a real Rajastani chori, with a gaghra and all...so on the surface she acts like a sweet, meek, Paro-type girl; but when you're alone with her is when you find out that she is a wannabe Kareena Kapoor!

Well I think the buddy messaged at midnight to set the birthday track in motion with Paro but ok. 😆 Even if the army did make a big deal about such things...the Rudra from the beginning of RR...would never partake in such trivial things! Those who want to live but are not certain if they will get another birthday may celebrate their DOB, but Rudra never really cared about living, he was merely existing, caught up in his demons. I wonder if Laila celebrated 8 birthdays with him hahahaha

Rudra logically and psychologically can't become the person he used to be 15 years ago, life happens and 15 years of it happened, albeit in pain...those 15 years have built who he is, he can't just go back. So yes while I understand that Paro is healing him, why does that equate to make him losing basic characteristics and beliefs that he has grown to have over the years? Even if his sense of entitlement is returning...it doesn't mean he should suddenly find birthdays endearing. He doesn't at all look like a person who went through 15 years of dark, painful birthdays. Yes Rudra should expect Paro to know his DOB...since like you said she knows everything about him...but when she claims not to know...he should not feel so bad and childish about it. I don't think it's psychologically consistent at all.

But to each his own.

P.S. Years of therapy would not be enough to make Rudra let go of his demons fully. 😛
