Chapter 10(B): Our Closeness

Navya felt goosebumps all over body as his lips met hers.It was a soft kiss at first which soon turned into a passionate one.After few minutes Anant opens his eyes and goes backward creating a 2 feet distance between them.Navya looked at him blankly.

"Vo..vo pata nahi kaise apne aap hi ho gaya"says Anant as he looked at her.

Navya looked down with her cheeks flushed in shyness.She went from there and sat on the hay. Anant went and sat beside her.

"Navya am sorry ya"said Anant looking at her side who is looking to the other side

Navya turned towards him with a shy smile.

"Sorry mat bolo Anant, I trust you"She said as she placed her hand upon his and squeezing it gently making him smile warmly at her.

Navya lied on the hay and Anant beside her. They chatted happily to know better about each other's likes, dislikes, hobbies until they both slept holding hands with a smile playing over there lips.

The sun rays peeped though the broken windows of the hut upon Anant's face which made him turn to the other side.He kept his hand beside him and in a snap, open his eyes to find Navya not lying beside him.He sat upright.

"Navya...Navya kaha ho tum?" He called out for her.

Just then Navya came out wearing her suit while plaiting her hair.She sat beside him with a smile and wished him "Good morning"

"Morning, aur..."Said Anant as he held her plait "Baal mat bandho na, mujhe tum khule baalo mei bohut achi lagti ho"

"Nahi Anant, mere baal kaafi bickhre hue hai"she removed her plait from his grip "agar nahi bandha toh Maa ko shaq ho jayega, vo sochengi mai Rits ke ghar pe bheeg kaise gayi"

"Umm thike"Anant pouted like a child.

Navya couldn't resist herself as she found him damn cute at this moment and placed a kiss on his cheeks.

"Acha baba thike abse jab bhi tumahre saath hongi tab kabhi baal nahi baadhungi, khush"said Navya pulling his cheeks in a teasing way.

Anant didn't know on what he should be more happy now, about the lovely cheek kiss or her cute promise.He just hugged her tight to show his reason for why he loves her so much.

"Kya baat hai Navya badi khush lag rahi hai, lagta hai kal raat Rits ke ghar khoob masti ki"Smiled Meeta at Navya who entered with a big smile on her lips.

"Ah,haan Maa bohut maza aya"She said in a hurry as she was saying a lie and went to her room.

"Achiii" sneezez Navya on the phone for the fifth time while talking to Rits and Appy.

"Ahem..ahem..dekh na Appy kuch logo ke tevar kal raat se bade badle lag rahe hai"said Rits in a teasing way.

"Arey bhai ab jab.. pyaar hua, ikraar hua hai pyaar se phir kyoon darrta hai dil"sang Appy.

"Kehta hai dil rasta mushkil maaloom nahi hai kahan manzil"joined Rits in a melodramatic way as they both gave a hi-fi to each other.

"Appy.. achhi'..Rits.. achii' tum dono ko mai achii' chodungi nahi"said Navya with difficulty while sneezing in between.

"Haan haan pehle apne Anant ko toh sambhaal le"giggled Appy followed by Rits.

"Guys,par mujhe na achii' kaafi dar lag raha hai,agar mere maa papa achii' nahi mane toh ya phir uske.."said Navya on a serious note.

"Ohho tu itni chinta kyun karti hai uncle aunty ko tu aaram se samjhana, unhe batana ki tu Anant se pyaar karti hai aur usise shaadi karna chahti hai" said Appy.

"Haan aur rahi baat Anant ki toh pehle tumahre parents' maan jaye phir vo log uske parents ko bhi mana lenge"said Rits thinking about the future possibilies.

"Acha thike thanks guys bye achhi'" Said Navya.

"Haan okay bye achiii" mimicked Rits and Appy and hanged up.

It was 4:00 o' clock in the afternoon.

Meeta came to Navya's room to find her sleeping as she had medicines for her cold and cough.

"Ye ladki toh so rahi hai, ab kya kare jee?" asked Meeta to Deepak.

"Karna kya hai ab aake hi sab kuch batate hai"said Deepak and they left locking the house from outside.

"Navya..Navya pick up the phone yaar"said Anant pacing around the hospital with a worried look on his face.

"Bhai kya hua, Navya ne phone uthaya?"asked Nimmi

"Nahi nimmi, pata nahi kyu nahi utha rahi hai,ab toh ma'am ko ye sunke shock lagne wala hai jaisa ki kuch der pehle mujhe laga tha"said Anant as he sat on the seat disturbed.

Nimisha sat beside him to console his brother.

"Haww... Anant ke itne saare missed calls,Navya tu toh gayi" she shouted as she tried to press the green button on her phone to call back him. Just then Meeta,Deepak and Renu entered inside her room.

"Papa, Maa aur Di, aap sab kahi gaye tha kya?sorry vo mujhe thodi neend aa gayi thi"said Navya rubbing her eyes lazily as she sat on the bed accompanied by Meeta and Renu while Deepak sat on the chair.

"Navya beta hum abhi hospital se hokar aa rahe hai"said Deepak.

"Hospital? Kyu kya hua papa sab theek toh haina?"Asked Navya looking panicked.

"Beta Mohan ke baba matlab tumahre sasurji ke pita ko ek mild heartattack aaya tha par ab vo pehle se behetar hai. Isliye Om bhaisahab ka phone aaya toh unhone humse kaha ki hum turant hospital aa jaye unke pitaji ko humse kuch baat karni hai. Unki ye aakhri icha hai ki vo apne bade pote ki shaadi apni aakhon ke saamne dekhna chahte hai isliye unka maan rakhte hue humne ye teh kiya hai ki..."Deepak looked at Meeta to continue.

"Ki teri shaadi ab ek hafte ke ander hi ho jayegi, tere papa tere college mei leave application bhi de aaye hai"smiled Meeta.

"Aur hum teri shaadi ke card ka order bhi de aaye hai"said an excited Renuka.

"Chal Renuka bohut saari tyaariyan karni hain hume humari Navya ke liye." said Meeta as they all left the room.

Navya couldn't believe what she heard just now.She is getting married within a week now.How will she able to talk to her parents about Anant? She understood now why Anant was repeatedly calling her.

She dialed up his number without a second thought.

"Hello"

"Hello Anant, bohut badi problem ho gayi hai"said Navya.

"janta hoon,isliye tumhe call kar raha tha,mujhe kuch samajh nahi aa raha ki ab hum kya karenge.Baba ki tabiyat kaafi nazook hai asa mei itni badi baat ghar pe sabke saamne mei kaise keh paonga?"said Anant.

"Lekin Anant hume kuch toh karna padega na, mai...mai Mohan ji se shaadi nahi karna chahti"She said as tears came in her eyes.

"Navya..navya please ro mat,hum koi na koi raasta zarur nikaal lenge,ek kaam karte hai aaj sham ko milte hai,thike."

"hmm okay,bye"she said and broke down crying.

Everything was so right till yesterday and suddenly all problems came in her life today.She wished if yesterday only the time would have stopped as she fears now to face the outcomes of tomorrow.
