Shraddha Kapoor, the petite beauty with two blockbusters under her belt, 'Aashiqui 2' and 'Ek Villain', is actually not all sugar and spice in public life.
During the promotions of 'Ek Villain', Shraddha has had quite a few run ins with photographers in Mumbai due to her refusal to pose for pictures. With multiple serial appearances for Balaji, and events, Shraddha has been difficult to get clicked.
So today, the snaparazzi decided to give her a dose of her own medicine. Shraddha was boycotted by print photographers and snaparazzi at a press meet to celebrate the success of 'Ek Villain' this evening in Mumbai.
Mohit Suri stood up on stage with his entire cast, and asked for the pictures to be clicked. No one responded. Baffled, Mohit asked on the mike, "Whats the matter? Why isn't anyone clicking our photos?"
Photographers then asked Riteish Deshmukh to step down and said that if Shraddha moves out of the frame, everyone will click the rest of the film's team.
A flabbergasted Riteish didn't know what to do! So Sidharth Malhotra stepped in requesting photographers to click, for she is his costar in the film. Sid, a very popular actor with the snaparazzi, and always well behaved, was politely informed that no one will refuse to click him, but they definitely didn't want Shraddha in the frame. And then Shraddha's manager pleaded with them too.
In the end, the photographers remained adamant, and pictures were clicked of Riteish, Sid and Mohit, sans Shraddha Kapoor.
Note that Shraddha is also missing from the pictures of the success party attended by Salman Khan. Perhaps she would do well to remember, that despite the complex whirlwind of pretensions and poses and PR, the simple posed photograph of a heroine has a very significant role to play in their careers.
