Well I shall try & explain ...............
In the mahabharat the padavas (arjuns family) and the kauravas (yuvraj's family) gamble ....... at each step of the game the eldest of the pandavas (yudhistar) keeps gambling belongings .... jewels, kingdom, ..... until he has gambled away everything that they own apart from Draupadi. Finally Draupadi is put up as a prize and Yudhistar loses and then Draupadi is forcibly brought in front of the elders of the house kicking and screaming, the sari she is wearing is slowly pulled off her and its at this point that Krushna saves her by performing a miracle. The sari that she is wearing becomes never ending so that no one is able to take it off her no matter how much they try.
Draupadi never forgets this humiliation and vows revenge on all present that day who never said anything but just watched, particurlarly the kauravas. After that point all she thinks abt is REVENGE for the way she was humiliated.
