So I wrote the original version of this at 1 am after coming home from a mega cinema experience- I watched Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, and Skyfall (in one sitting. :O)- two years ago. There will be a James Bond quote at the start of every chap too, bc I'm a stupid dork like that. It will be relevant. :DDD
The James bond theme was on repeat.
It was written for a big bang. I will not disclose the pairing.
inspired by SPN tho. Lots of angel stuff. NO ACTUAL ANGELS GOD.
It is crime fiction. All the blame goes to Daniel Craig and his stupid eyes. Those eyes man. I don't even know. The dirtier he gets (literAL DIRT AND MUD NOT THE lets get down and dirty' DIRTY) the brighter they are. Just watch the first 15 mins of Casino Royale. You will get my obsession.
Aahil wears a suit people. So does Rehaan. And Rahaat. And a bunch of others. THEY'RE FBI!
My heaven this is basically.
SANAM IS A BAMF! SHE HAS A DOG!
THIS IS 130-SOMETHING THOUSAND WORDS I HAVE EDITED JUST FOR YOU!
300 PAGES ON WORD AND MORE!
I AM ON MEDICATION MAYBE THAT'S WHY EVERYTHING IS IN CAPS!
OR MAYBE IT IS BECAUSE OF RENALDO'S STUPIDEST PENALTY KICK IN THE HISTORY OF PENALTY KICKS!!!
IDK!
!!!
PLEASE READ! AND LIKE! AND COMMENT!
THEY GIVE ME HAPPINESS IN MY HEART!!!!
On a serious note.
Warnings will be placed at the end of each chapter bc I'm not a fan of people vomiting after reading my stuff. And it is generally very gory and all, so if you don't like that sorta stuff, pls give it a miss.
The plot to eye sex ratio is pretty unbalanced. I would say around 6:4.
Wow. This entire note ended up being 217 words, not including theses ones. Wow.
Without further ado, here is the prologue!!!! It will not make sense. Don't worry. If I get a good response from you peeps stating that you would like to read more, I will post the 1st chapter tomorrow or something.
prologue
"how much do you know about fear?"
"all there is."
-
"The violence perpetrated on the body was the result of uncontrolled anger- it was sloppy and wild and personal. Not just the eyes, but there were cuts on his body- methodical. Exploratory, curious. He was playing with the body. It became a game for him."
-
"This- This body in Bhopal was found in a coffin,"
Aahil can feel the chill masking his skin as he tries desperately to keep a calm expression on his face. He belatedly realizes that he had clenched his fists hard enough for the nails to rip through calloused and course skin. He looks from his trembling hands to the man in front of him.
"There was a word carved onto her chest, a word that looked like the name of an angel. A pretty obscure name though. They haven't figured out it's significance yet."
"What was her crime?" His voice is harsh, cold like the skin covering his bones, but he doesn't care.
"That we don't have," The gaze leveled at him was steady, solid. Grounding.
"They didn't report it. So, maybe they didn't find it. Maybe it's a copycat who doesn't know. Maybe it's a coincidence."
"Its not a coincidence," Aahil says, voice fueled with a force that he can't recognize. It can't be.
-
"It was supposed to be pretty routine,"
"I take it that it wasn't?" Rehaan voice is oddly pitying. Aahil ignores it.
"The killer," He says, quiet and subtle, looking out the window, watching greying rains paint the sky.
"He'd been planning the killing for a while. Made a coffin out of white pine. It was beautiful- the coffin was. The priest was in it. He was stripped apart from his underwear and collar. He- The skin was- you couldn't see the colour of the skin it was so mottled with bruising. He had been beaten, wrists, hands broken. Post mortem, the ME said. He was actually killed by Cyanide- Hydrogen Cyanide. Eardrums punctured. Eyes carved out and placed back in. We had no idea- but he had a brand burned on to his skin pre-mortem. A word on the underside of his jaw."
"What- what was it?"
"Molester."
-
"The violence and the torture and the exploration of the corpse have similar signatures. I've spoken with some of the people in Martinsburg and asked if handwriting similarities are restricted to what a person does with pen and paper, and they said no.
So, I've sent pictures of the angel name carvings down to them for a comparison, but they look identical to me. What really clinched it for me was the brand we found on the latest victim. The fact that the killer was carving angel names into the victims' chests was released to the public-"
-
"Why?" Aahil asks. The word comes out like the crackled leaves of autumn, rough at the edges, and though Aahil has tried not too, malice still ebbs its way in, nourishing darkness and fear.
"Because she's a thief, Aahil. She stole something very precious."
-
You may have noticed. Capital letters on titles sort of make them look a little eh.
I wasn't actually gonna post this just yet, but then farz (can I call you faruu?) was all I NEED' and I was high on coke (the drink). I was like, why da hell not?!
So yeah. The story of my life.
Very very gory. Much blood.
Hope u liked.
(the quote is from Skyfall, when Bond is talking- yes actually talking not bedding- to Severine. She asks the question. He gives the answer. so beautiful, isn't it?).
