Stars still parked in UK

Most are eagerly awaiting the launch party of a high-fashion magazine in London on Wednesday

Looks like England is surely the flavour of the season, at least for apna Bollywood. While most from the film industry had planted themselves in Yorkshire for the IIFA award ceremony that took place last night, doesn't look like all of them will be back in Mumbai soon.

A huge clan will stay back after the function in UK for the launch party of L'officiel magazine's London edition on Wednesday.

Along with director Karan Johar and Shilpa Shetty who will officially inaugurate the magazine there, many others like Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Ajay Devgan, Shamita Shetty, Rani Mukherji, Manish Malhotra, Preity Zinta may attend the party.

Says Karan for whom London has always been a hot-spot for shooting his movies, "London and New York are my favourite international destinations. I shot recently for the cover in New York and now am in London for its launch. This really makes me feel like a model. I thought being an astronaut was more achievable."

And, of course, who doesn't want to spend more time with friends,

"I'm guessing we'll have a rocking time. It is not very often we get to chill at such great places," he adds.

For Shilpa, obviously, the city is now no less than a second home. With reports that she is considered the third most influential person in UK, she ought to be more than glad. "I am truly grateful for the acknowledgement I receive here. They celebrated my birthday so grandly and now I can't wait to party this week. My sister is here too, so I'm hoping to have a blast," she says.
