He's given the surprise hit of the year. But it hasn't been without its fair share of controversies. What with some blaming him for picking up the storyline from an international film, while someone blaming him for replicating an entire script. Here's more. It seems when this director was working for an acclaimed production house, two or three directors claim they went to him with similar stories and most of their scenes have been reproduced in his recent hit. Sigh. RIP originality.

Also there were some controversies around it, regrading it copying some scenes from Hindi film...

Sounds like Vikas Behl / Queen, I don't know about copying from any hollywood movie, but I found it highly inspired/copied from English Vinglish/some what from Cocktail and that;s why that movie didn;t work for me that much :(
