NEWS : Who will play the new negative lead in Rangrasiya?

Attention everyone!!! There's a new twist coming in the love story of Rudra (Ashish Sharma) and Paro (Sanaya Irani) in the popular Colors show, Rangrasiya (Tequila Shots Productions).

Well, we have heard that there will soon be an introduction of a hardcore negative lead on the show, who will take the audiences by storm.

And some big names have been short listed to play the above-said role, is what we hear.

So who are the big guns on line to bag the role?

Well, the list goes like this. The toss-up apparently will happen between Kushal Tandon, Shaleen Malhotra, Vishal Karwal and Kunal Karan Kapoor.

The list sounds really good, and one thing that is certain is that all the handsome hunks have been in the choiced group of Colors earlier.

As for Kushal, his Bigg Boss and Khatron Ke Khiladi stint with the channel has indeed made him a hot favourite. Shaleen, as we know was earlier short-listed for the role of Abhay Kapoor in Colors' Madhubala, before the role went to Gunjan Utreja. Vishal Karwal is yet another blue-eyed boy of Colors with shows like Bhagyavidhata, Rishton Se Badi Pratha and Bigg Boss under his belt. Kunal Karan Kapoor, yet again has been part of the popular series Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha on Colors.

Seems a tough decision indeed for the maker and channel!!

A source states, "This character will be the new negative lead. The guy will have a lot of predominance in the story ahead. And the character in itself will be stunning and out-of-the-box. The decision on who the new entry would be has not been made yet. The story ahead revolving around this new entry will be intriguing to the viewers."

We at Tellychakkar.com decided to talk to the four lads to know what they have to say about the role offered to them.

When contacted, Kushal told us, "Yes, it is true that I have been approached for Rangrasiya. But I have refused the offer, as I need time to recuperate after my operation. I am not keen for a comeback to daily soaps as of now."

As for Shaleen, he said, "Yes, talks are on. However, there are lot of things that need to be finalized."

Kunal asked us to call later, while Vishal refused to comment.

We tried calling Producer Saurabh Tewari, but did not get through to him.

As per sources, the actor will be finalized in the coming days, and the track is expected to go on air in two week's time.

We also texted Prashant Bhatt, Fiction Head, Colors but he did not reply till the time of filing the article. On getting any response we shall update the space in a jiffy.
