Hey guys, calling along with trending & mails is the utmost important aspect, related to any cause for a show. I realized, we cannot do one thing at a time, as they wouldn't take us seriously. We need to attack them from all possible means. We need to call star plus & star network on the toll free numbers, as many times as possible in a day & we'll have to ask all our friends, family, relatives (if you wish), to do it once for you. Since it is toll free, but only to Indian users.
Here is what happens once you dail.
A customer care person picks up & you say "I'm calling to place a request regarding a certain show".
He'll ask you if your phone is registered with the "Do not disturb" service. Please say "No", for the most part, else they'll pester you, to give an another number on which they can revert to you.
" This is regarding a show called Pyaar ki ye ek kahani. It used to air on Star one, 2 years back. The channel got shut, so the show had to end. But we fans have been waiting for 2+ years, for the show to be back. So we've been trending, mailing etc. We just wanted to convey, to the higher officials of Star, to please bring the show back, for a season 2, on any star network channel. I mean, with the same lead actors i.e Vivian & Sukirti."
I also said "Vivian has been doing another show i.e Madhubala. But it's likely to come to an end in a few days. So if the channel could approach him and rope him in, along with Sukirti, for a new season of PKYEK, we fans will be thrilled. Please convey this to the concerned officials and let us know, if we receive a response".
Back in my IPK days, we used to register 1000+ calls per day. That's how you get recognised with star. They didn't even have the time to breathe.That's why they came back with IPK season2 so quick, even if they couldn't get Barun & SI back. This time, 1000+ is nearly impossible, since we're not that great in number at all. But we need to register atleast 100-200 calls, ourselves. With friends etc. We can call any no. of times. Everytime our request will be taken & sent across.
P. S - Please keep informing in this thread, everytime you make a call. So that we can keep a count, of how many calls are going across to them, everyday. Also write your experience if you wish, any specific catchy response if they give. Since the movement has just started, we won't receive any great response yet, until they receive many calls consistently, over the days. So we need, all PKYEK fans + VD, SK & FB fans to participate in this. We cannot afford to be lazy. Star usually always responds, when they get calls in large numbers :) They give us some idea. They take calls very seriously too.
