I was among the ones who was very confident about zaya as a couple and did not believe in the zaya divorce or remarriage rumours when the media was all but crowing about it... But there was this article yesterday which said Creatives/Channel to re-think on ZaYa divorce track which made me retrospect even though i had questions about its authenticity with regards to creatives atleast if not the channel.
For a moment let us consider there really was a thought process about the divorce track and no smoke without fire concept... Den frankly what were they trying to accomplish by this track...? this aint normal ekta type serial for that to happen and from what i have gathered from this forum as per islamic customs divorce and remarriage is nearly impossible to portray on Tv and where is the love story and what is the point if Aliyah is to consummate her marriage with another guy and come back to Zain wouldn't it spell doom to the couple ...? so unless they were writing zaya off what was really going on in their heads when they even gave a thought about divorce track...?
Even in the past i ve come across serials where they first build a couple and later marry the girl off to someone else and develop a totally new couple and fandom but atleast there the girl wasnt married but here in Beintehaa they ve developed a strong bond of marriage between Zaya from the scratch by making them go through various stages of relationship metamorphosis and Zaya is the pillar and soul for the very existence of this show...
**P.S This aint a negative or panic post just an introspection what if they had or why did they even resort to think about such track...
