In the forthcoming film 'Humshakals', Ram Kapoor is seen in a hilarious sequence romancing his female avatar.Considering his weight, any other actor would perhaps shy away from sporting short skirts but Ram Kapoor manages to look quite convincing and hilarious in this avatar.The actor is quite sporting. Most TV actors after attaining success on small screen, refuse to break away from their set image. But Ram Kapoor, through his movie roles, consistently played varied roles. At a time when saas-bahu soaps ruled prime time televsion, Sakshi Tanwar and Ram Kapoor played their age in a mature love story in 'Bade Achhe Lagte Hain'. The couple also were one of the few who shot a kissing scene for the small screen. Of course, in the past few years, Ram Kapoor has been a subjected to several weight jokes. But being a sport, he says the jokes don't bother him. Ekta Kapoor's blue-eyed boy has featured in several of her popular shows like 'Ghar Ek Mandir', 'Kasamh Se' and 'Bade Achhe Lagte Hain'. The actor states that he has got much more recognition after his weight gain. Apparently while scripting 'Bade Achhe Lagte Hain', Ekta Kapoor had asked Ram if she could include his weight in the story line.
