Note, I wrote it would serve Raghvendra right, not Yamini.
Yamini needs to ensure that her father doesn't make her Kate like this again.Raghvendra is forgetting one thing, that what he's encouraging is unprofessional behavior and if the director makes that known to the media (and they've already started covering the play as seen in the precap), Yamini will suffer even more damage to her reputation as Neha had already accused her of being unprofessional. In Raghvendra's mind, the play, the director and the theatre holds no significance, so of course he would be so high handed and full of himself with no regard for the others. But truth is Nikukmb has gotten a good response from the cultural festival, which is why the principal gave him the college play. And while Nikukmb may not be a star, he wouldn't need to be one for the media and public to latch on to his complaints and allegations.I'm not saying Nikumbh would air it out in the media; I'm saying Raghvendra is being too egotistical, and someone else in Nikumbh's position may not have qualms in doing so.

Earlier I thought Yamini's father wants to reach his ambition through his daughter. Lots of people do that. But this seems more like power play to me now. He loves his child but he doesn't love anybody quite as much as his ego which is the size of our country's population. In a way, again, Yamini's fame is the fuel of his ego. And a stark contrast is his timid and fearful daughter. It's not nice, the way she listens to everybody. If I were so popular and my father was like that, I'd walk outta his house faster than he could spell my name. 🤡

I agree, it's more about his own ego and fulfilling it.As for Yamini, I realized while watching Wednesday's episode that she doesn't even have a phone. He is an obsessive control freak with her.
