I have a question about comparison threads. And I know this thread will probably get closed to. But I don't think I'm creating an unnecessary thread. But this is a dancing reality show, and comparisons will be made. I believe that as long as everyone can compare contestants in a civil manner without bashing, offending, or such things of the sort, comparison threads SHOULD be allowed for a healthy discussion. The moment it drifts away from a healthy and civil discussion, then the thread should be CLOSED. Most of us are mature individuals who can give our point of views without bashing other contestants or fan bases of these contestants. I don't think its fair that comparison topics on dancers that have been a part of this show should not be allowed.
Can I just have an answer from a DT member on why we can't compare dancers if we can do it in a civil and cooperative way? Because you can't expect there to be no comparisons. There are going to be better dancers than others. Its not an opinion, its a FACT.
As for the rules this is directly quoted by what Levi has posted in the rules thread: "But whilst making such a topic the member has to be sure that their posts is without malice or bias and would enable all parties to out their case forward, but whilst doing that another actor is not put down to make your point."
Hence a topic should be allowed until it starts causing problems. Clarification please?
