Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon
In Bollywood, the iconic line Phata
poster nikla hero', still holds
meaning when it comes to films. The
lavish name itself is enough to
describe the superstar RK (Rishabh
Kundra) and his lady love Madhu
(Madhubala).
Their grand love was not so fairy as it
depicted the story when the water
met the fire. But like they say, there
is fun when the opposites attract,
ain't it? With a marriage based on
revenge, villain's entry and
background music like the ordinary
masala films in Bollywood, finally the
climax arrives when the two love
birds fall in love. But wait! The film
hasn't ended yet!
RK and Madhu, wrapped in the battle
of love and hate have faced
bittersweet moments that only
added layers to their complex love
story. From the four rounds of
marriage, to the ditching moment at
the mandap, RK and Madhu have
clashed and loved each other
unconditionally. Knowingly or not,
they hold the string that defines a
relationship that never ends, despite
being on the fine line.
With RK faking his love, a shattered
Madhu vowed to destroy every
ounce of RK that resided in her heart
and the body that made him alive.
But how far can the guilt bearing RK
go without professing his sorrow
and pain that was getting built
within himself everyday?
The intense, hot headed and yet die
hard romantic RK pleads for Madhu's
love and in the process he dared to
take the knife out to hurt himself for
the love that defines his rebirth. "Lo
beh chala khoon-e- ishq, lo chal diya
mein tabaah hone, har zakham saath
chala saboot hone, har boond bahi
gava banne" were the echoing
words that finally admitted his true
feelings, withstanding any fake
intentions or negative aspirations.
Finally giving in to her emotions and
true love for RK while sensing his
redemption, the story of RK and
Madhu completes the circle soon
after. The passionate love rises
above the passion for hate, leaving
the story to dignify in a pool of love.
She holds the key to his every
breath, she holds the door to his
very death. Like a shadow to his soul,
she is the sole one to drive him
insane or to lend him sanity. That's
the craze, the power, the
possessiveness of love. It's
