Rudra is presuming that she had a relationship with Tejawat before she ran away but it seems the truth will be something else...she probably met Tejawat after she left...it was Mohini that instigated Mala to leave for whatever reason...we have to wait and watch.

I guess it's his defense mechanism at play...for a person who never got that kind of deep and all encompassing love from others, that characteristic developed within himself...he VALUED that kind of love more and put it above everything else unlike the other ppl in his life.

Bingo! So well thought. It sure happens with people who have seen suffering or lack of love, they end up giving more love and warmth. This is how Rudra is, he was left on his own, unprotected and vulnerable. In turn, he became strong not only to protect himself but all those who matter to him.
