simran's hairstyle

why are the actors hesitant to put grey color , evenb though playing the role of some 50-55 years?

yes, urmila's hairdo was properly justified in the serial< her putting hair dye with sid's request>

if not grey hair, atleast the age should be indicated in some other way. like simran having a bun, or atleast a pony tail instead of flaunting long open hair....

the same maker's other serial hasratein too had actors in their middle afe, and they were very dignifiedly shown to be looking their age in the show!

in that way, actor Varun Badola is bold enough to be putting white beard <french cut for that matter> and white hair. he looks older than simran though the story shows he is 10 years younger to her!!!!

but since his other show rabba ishq.... has been on air recently whre he is shown to be a romantic youngster, i wonder he too would join the same flock of simran, urmila, etc in order to save the viewers from identity crisis and mix up between rabba.. and astitva!!! 😕😕

I agree with u earlier when they showed Astitva after 18 yrs of leap Simran was looking quite dull and old but I guess now with return of Abhi she is lively again and started to put makeup and let her hair loose. It's all coz of love 😉

You have a good point about the hair. I also feel that she should get a sari make-over as she uses the same tone sari and blouse with the blouse always the same style.

It used to look nice before, but now it is so boring.

Why is that if someone is older, they have to look older also. So what if simran is suppose to be older, that doesn't mean she has to have her hair turn white, no make up. There are 80, 90yr old ladies that go out all dressed up with heels. Just because someone is getting older, they don't need to look it. She looks good, it's not like she is going out with short shirts, revealing clothes, she dresses proper for her age. I think everyone in this world thinks that just because you get older, you should stop caring for yourself, but this is not the case. Life is about looking and feeling beautiful about yourself!!!!!!

LOL! As I have said before I think Abhi looks way way older than 45!! He looks 55 or more.. Men in their 40s look much trimmer, fitter and do not have this kind of grey hair.

Simran's young look has also been explained. Her father wanted her to dress the same way she did 15 years ago, so she relented. Before that I thought she looked somewhat her age.

Agree with u punjabi girl.. Just because someone is getting old does not mean they have to have grey hair. Today's women have all the resources to look young even at 50-55. The only thing that I don't like about Simran's dressing is her saree blouses. I just don;t like that style.

Simran looks more charming now because she has Abhi's love,but she needs to change her Sarees(one type of sarees in diffrent color same blouse )old people also wear pritned or border sarees,she looks the best in saree though.

I would still like Simran to wear her hair in a bun , that makes her look more beautiful and dignified .Letting her hair all loose gives her a shabby look!

Punjabi Girl-- ok agreed that old people shld ot stop caring for themselves.. ok. but this is a serial where a 30 something actor is shown to be 55 years of age!

that means atleast some signs shld be shown in the get up which makes the character look realistic. Care for your beauty, do whatever make up you want to, but CARE AND BEAUTIFY YOURSELF AT THE SAME TIME DONT MAKE THE VIEWERS 4GET THE AGE OF THE CHARACTER. im not saying that since she is 55, stop wearing colorful sarees, and all that.
