end of one phase and beginnig of a new one!

hi folks!

i watched the episode today..do not know how to react..should i be happy that the truth is out or should i grieve after seeing the plight of jalal...!

time flies..circumstances change..people change..people evolve..but there are certain facts of life that remain and they are very hard to ignore and cut off completely..and one such fact is that rukkya is jalal's childhood wedded wife with whom jalal shared a special bond until he found his heart and his focus shifted to jodha, jodha's strength and honesty attracted him towards her whereas ruk never made an effort initially to impress jalal because she thought him as her part..and who checks every morning whether all fingers of the hand are intact...!

the beautiful phase that jalal ruk shared with its own bitter sweet moments hit the last nail in its coffin by the kulasa of fake pregnancy!..should we blame ruk completely or can we say that jalal's attraction towards jodha made her do this???..here i too am confused..time and again i have discussed on this topic but as per the natkiye rupantar and the way they have been shown against the reel ruk are not acceptable!..if i was in jalal's place i would not forgive ruk that easily because this is indeed a sin and not a minor mistake that can be overlooked!

i feel sad for a relationship to end this way because this will hit jalal hard, doesn't matter how much he loves jodha, ruk also had a special place in his life and it will not be easy to forgive and forget nor come out of darkness of betrayal that ruk created just to consolidate her position and place in jalal's life!..and as per NR jodha and salima might play the role to patch them up but the crack will remain and for how long..balaji will narrate in the upcoming episodes!

with ruk's downfall, jodha's rise a new phase in jalal's life will start..the love is already there but now jodha will become his soul mate and ardhangini in true sense..lets see how cvz create the story and i hope and request that they do not keep increasing jodha's halos but let other people take credit as well to make it look more realistic and i hope jalal's character improves and we get to see more stronger shades of the real Akbar in our Rajat's Jalal...!

i am adding few lines which will show ruk's plight in future episodes after she realizes what she has done...

Yes.. its the "natakiya rupanthar" of Ruqaiyya thats hurting.

She was his childhood friend, sweetheart and wife. She very well knows the polygamous relationship that Jalal is / had been pursuing. Thats how Emperors / Kings are.

So, for me personally, this drama seems unrealistic, coz, I dont' think Ruqaiyya was "audha queen" in the real sense at all; She never had insecurity with Jalal; was always respected and treated on par of his important Queens, eventhough, she couldnt provide a hire to the throne. Akbar was known to have given lots of importance and respect for women during his reign and Ruqs was not eliminated at all. May be he did not speak to her for sometime, how long, I dont' know. But, he had done that to many family members.

Yes.. she may have had skirmishes in the royal zenana, her self-esteem could have become low due to lack of motherhood - an important part of a married woman's life, even in today's world. We can imagine the pressure she was in 500 years back.

But, for the show, as discussed earlier too, this is Jodha - Akbar story, so they are the center point of the narration. Keeping in mind today's mindset of "monogamy" , the CVs are going the favorite route of making the other wife / wives as the vamp or gray-shaded. They may lose TRPs if they show Akbar sleeping around as, as per history, even Rukhsar Begum and some queens and concubines were his favorites, with whom he spent time too.

This time NR broke all records of crappiness. I m happy that this crap ended but sad becoz of jalal's plight. Somewhere jalal is also responsible for Ruk's follies, though he never expected that she will stoop such low. Had jalal maitained balance b/w ruk n jo then probably this would not had happened. But what we got was simple ignorance from jalal's side as soon as he found his DIL. No doubt that Ruks is not heroine of this show,but she is jalal's cousin,childhood frnd 1st wife n ofcourse his responsiblity. ,how can jalal ignore all these 4. N rukkaiya should not have selected this path of getting care of jalal which mocked at motherhood n longings of jalal as father. Rest '' NATKIYA RUPANTAR KI JAI HO''. I wish cvs hade made Ruks character in b/w jo n salima.

now all i want is dat jalal shud vent out his anger nd hurt infront of ruqu nd not jodha begum coz atleast nw he need to make her realize how much imp she was to him nd wat unrepairable damage she has caused to their relationship coz of her insecurities ...coz this is the tym nd atleast once i want him to speak to his childhood friend ruqaiya,his 1st wife ruqaiya nd only his ruqaiya...
once he shud talk as jalal talking to his ruqaiya...

Good discussion. I think Ruqu will use the isolation and ignoring by others to do some introspection. The shock of what she has done and the disgust of Jalal will soften the hard edges of her personality. We know that Ruq will rehabilitated, let's hope that when it is done it a a humbled Ruq who treats others with respect.

ya dear so true...i mean jst look at the way they made her look yar nd all this bakwaas is jst to show jodha begum mahaan nd the most imp wife nd most lovable wife of Akbari mean like realy ??can we realy take it as UCHIT NATKIYE RUPANTR??ha i can call it AWASHYAK coz if they wud hv kept ruqu realy as an supporting character nd 1st wife,childhood friend,his cousin nd Mughal shehzaadi+mallikaye begum in good lyt then she wud hv definately overpowered jodha's character coz if we observe carefully den this vry jodha bai is nothing bt nly a typical SBS heroine who got married to the person she hated most,den she became the reason fr his change though u will find dt Jalal himself found his reasons of changes nw we find him bt the credit will obviously go to the heroine,she will bring all vamps in,then find their evil motives herself,try to fight alone nd not let anyone knw abt it till the things realy get overboard to be revealed nd finally take the credit nt all halos to her account...to agr aise me ruqu ko realy as an supporting character dikha dete to hm log to ruqu baby like krne lgte na we cud hv mocked away jodha begum so i can call it AWASHYAK bt nvr an UCHIT NR...

One could feel Jalal's pain. The credit is entirely Rajat's. He's like a rainbow of emotions, disbelief, shock, rage. Just fantastic.

Ruqaiyya has dug her own grave. I simply can't relate to this Ruqaiyya. Initially she was a true grey character. Of late she's become monotonous. No new shades at all. Frankly the way she betrayed Jalal was appalling. As you said she is his bestie. She knewhim. Per her own pproclamation knew his brain. Hence it goes without saying that she knew his weaknesses. And she used that very weaknesses of his. And for what, just so she could create some distance between him and Jodha? Not for a moment she thought about him. About how it'd hurt him. It was all about her, her lobe, her place in his life, and God help us, her audha. Jalal has moved on on his path and found a true love with Jodha. But never did he say that Jodha has replaced Ruqaiyya. Neither by words nor by actions. It's perfectly understandable for Ruqs to have insecurity but it is NOT acceptable for her to cause emotional destruction in others' luves because of it.

Nicely discussed the new phase in jalal's life.
Of course, some where i feel sympathetic towards ruq also. Without thinking of the consequences she enacted a play whose climax she very well knew. But her emotions took over her logic. Now she has become a disgusting insect in the eyes of jalal. Any one to fall from the high regard to low level in the eyes of their beloved is the worst which could happen to any individual.

Its not jalal's mistake to fall in love for jodha or vice versa. Ruq was always his best friend and would always be forever. She herself said that after jalal started bringing more begums in the harem, they became more of friends that man and wife. Then why so much jealousy for jodha alone. She always thought that she can behave in her attitude as long as jalal was on her side. Her longer head attitude, her pride of being his first wife and BEK, her brilliance and intelligence, her audha security, was all driving factors of her to stoop low to play with every one's feeling.

This is the utter consequences of child marriage. They could become friends, but never man and wife. Love of a friend is different from love of a wife. Ruq has to accept the bitter fact that she could become his best friend, but never his heart.
