"I said, I want to see her first!" He yelled at the top of his voice, banging his hands on the table.
The lady across the table tilted her sideways and smirked.
"Hmm... I see your desperation, Mister! But... You don't see that it's money that matters. Not these overflowing emotions of yours!" She screamed in her deafening voice.
He shut his eyes in frustration.
"Look, I said I've got money with me. Can't you get it?" He spoke gritting his teeth.
"Reyaansh! You are bound here!" Came a male voice from a distant dark corner of the enormous hall, "You simply can't order us to get her to you. As per the rule, you are to hand the money - and we shall set her free!" A tall and lanky guy came upto them, bending down he gave a peck to the lady's lips and sat on table.
"He's Swayam. You'll do the money dealing with him, I'll get the girl." Spoke the lady and left for the small room they'd kept the girl in.
"And she is Sharon - my lady love!" Swayam said, looking at her retarding figure.
After she completely dissapeared, Swayam looked up at him. He still had his teeth clenched and fists closed. Swayam chuckled.
"Is she your girlfriend?"
Rey was startled at the sudden question. But soon gaining his fury back, hissed through his gritted teeth, "Its none of your business! You're a bloody kidnapper, who has kidnapped an innocent girl. And I'm a man who has come to rescue her. Thats it!"
Swayam burst into a roar of laughtet.
"Ohh Reyaansh, such you're just so naive! If she was your girlfriend, you'd simply have stated. But, your temper reveals that you both don't share a good relation. Do you?"
Rey stepped ahead and grabbed Swayam by the collar,"I've told you for once, and for all - it's none of your business... You filthy swine!" He shrugged him back, as Swayam stumbled and adjusted on the hand-rest of the chair.
"Ohh-kay! Seems you lose your calm often! Doesn't your girlfriend get annoyed by this?" Swayam spoke mockingly, as cool as ever.
Rey was finding it hard to maintaining his comoosure already, as Swayam was regarding her as his girlfriend. But now, he simply couldn't take it.
"She's not my bloody girlfriend! She belongs to my bestfriend, who was scared out of witts by jerks like you! Thus, I've come here! Happy? Now, dare if you dart another question!" Rey banged his fist on the table, as his voice echoed and re-echoed.
Swayam chuckled again.
"If that guy couldn't come to rescue his love, then he surely doesn't deserve to call her his love! It's you who does!" Swayam got up, and hit his finger at Rey's chest.
"Please Mr. Kidnapper! Don't serve as my love-guru! I want Kria here - right now! You take your money, and we leave!" Rey shrugged his hand off.
"What's so urgent that you wish to run away? It's always better to wait - you see! He smirked and turned around.
Sharon stood at the gate of the room with another guy and Kria hung unconscious, with support of both of theirs shoulders. As they entered the hall and the streaks of light fron the ventilator fell on them, Rey saw that the guy was Kunal - his best friend, and Kria's boyfriend. Wait! What the hell was he doing here? He said he was afraid to come... Perhaps, it seemed as if...
He collapsed on the floor, as it reached his head. This kidnap was planned by Kunal himself. Rey simply couldn't contemplate, what was to be done.
"Have her! And I have the money!" Kunal said, throwing Kria's faint body in his lap.
He quickly saved her head from getting smashed against the floor. In no time, rage got the better of him. Keeping her safely on the ground, he got up and came upto Kunal. Holding his collar, he shook him vehemently,"Why did you fake everything if you gave a damn to her? Why did you cheat on me, along with her? Why Kunal, why? I thought we were best friends... But now I know, you aren't worthy of even my friendship!" He ended up slapping him hard.
Kunal was taken aback. He'd always thought Rey to be a colossal emotional-fool. But, never in his farthest dreams did he think that he could carry this deadly amount of rage!
A drop of tear flowed down his face as he stepped back from Kunal. Wiping it off, he whispered,"I never thought you could stoop this low for money! I hate myself for having be-friended you!"
Gathering Kria in her arms, Rey started walking out of the hall. Meanwhile, Sharon collected the bag and handed it over to a shocked Kunal.
"Wait!" Came a voice, making Rey pause in his steps.
Making out that it was Swayam's voice, he turned around. The sight that he witnessed, made his jaw fling open.
Kunal had a cloth stuffed in his mouth and hands tied behind him. Swayam had a gun pointed against him, while Sharon checked his cell phone.
"Kindly tell us, who from his family should be contacted for ransom?" She spoke, scrolling his contact list.
To say Rey was shocked, would be an understatement. He couldn't make head or tail of what was happening. Gaining his senses, he whispered.
"What's this?"
Sharon chuckled.
"Reyaansh! You are truly naive! We are money minded people, for sure. But as we've found the other's company, we've started thinking about love as well. Your love for this girl is true! And this hippocret guy - is a swine!" She took a log and smacked Kunal's head with it, thus he fainted.
Rey couldn't believe what was being said. Suddenly he felt something move, and realised that Kria was gaining consciousness. As she opened her eyes, he gently kept her down.
"Rey..." She whispered, and hugged him tight.
He realised that she was sobbing.
"Shush Kria... What happened?" He stroked her head.
"Rey... That Kunal treats me very nastily... I just hate him... Please save me from him..." She mumbled.
Rey now understood Kunal's story, completely.
"Shush Kria... I'll take you away from him. But, don't you love him?"
She looked up.
"No Rey. Not at all. Infact, I love you... And have always done..." She smiled, with watery eyes.
He immediately wrapped his arms around her.
"I love you too Kria..."
"Excuse Me!" Sharon yelled.
They parted and looked up at her, in confusion - Kria being a bit more confused, noticing Kunal's state.
"What?" Rey asked.
"I'm still waiting! Contacts?" She raised her eyebrows.
Rey first looked at Swayam, then back at her - and all three burst out laughing!

About this... Well, it's my best-friend's birthday today, and he's not talking to me.
I was upset, and this rubbish was the result.
