I hate this show

friends, I have started hating this show. The attitude of the judges and the show reflects that they are the best. I have heard over and over from people and read in the books that the first step to success or greatness is being polite.I don't understand how people like Alka, Aadesh and Abhijeet are there where they are. They seem to have an attitude problem.
If a contestant is not singing well then that can be be said without being rude and thats why people will respect you and your judgement. I hate the show becase I hate the way Aadesh and Abhijeet discourages the contestant who are not up to the mark and I hate the show because of the way Alka carries herself in the show. Man, what an attitude and what a show.

I totally agree with you. They (the above mentioned trio) have ego problems. I guess they think that they are doing a service to the film industry scene by giving their "so-called valuable opinions" and helping the contestants with their honest opinion.

Honesty is all good, but honesty doesnot mean that you can be hurtful. You can be encouraging and say "better luck next time" instead of rudely asking them to get of the stage! In this context, I find Jatin and Lalit more humble and rooted than the other 3.

The trio don't know the word humility and they should thank their lucky stars for not having to deal with similar ill-mannered people when they were new and struggling artists, because believe me, they wouldn't be where they are now, had they had to go through such obnoxious people. 😕

I just don't like the attitude of the judges....they barely listen to some people and start complaining about their singing...when the reality of the matter is that the singer wasn't that bad 😡 😡

if you hate this show..then it is not your cup of tea..

this show is not about thejudges and mentors..it is about the singers..

i watched last nights below average performances on challenge 2007,and girls performances(didntwatch the boys) on II3...the judges tepid comments made it all the more unbearable..they feel that the audiences are fools and will buy whatever they say-their selections were very average-no amount of coveringup will help...

i dont agree with many things the judges do or say on this show..but after such a long wait i just want to listen to some genuinly talented singers..nothing more!

there are already more than a dozen singers on this show who i can listen to all this season..there are more to come..and i am so excited and enthuisiastic about it..

waiting in anticipation for the jaipur auditions 😳

I agree with Ankitaji.
VOI has more talented singers than SRGMP & II.

In SRGMP you have roti/topi crap.
In II anu gets hyper sometimes and anu-javed fights.
In VOI , aadesh is weird and abhijeet too.
All these shows has some crap for TRPs.

Mute your TV during those times and listen to singers.
Still if you hate this show pls dont watch it

well said ankita 😊 Every show has its good side and bad side....fortunately SVOI 's good side is its contestants - singers!!! 😊 Really looking forward to hear them as the contest progresses.

I agree with ANkita and Mandy 😊 I am actually looking forward to some good gayaki by the contestants. The judges are doing what gajji is telling them to do...akhir roti ka sawal hai na 😉

yes judges are a lil rude on VOI especially Abhijeet and Aadesh ... if singers are not good they shld be given the motivation to try improvise their skills not told bluntly that they are not fit to sing...

agree VOI definitely does have a line up of good singers ... but then again SRGMP also has got some singers with unique voices .. so both the shows are good in their own respective ways...

of course now that we get to hear that Sharib's brother Toshi is one of the contestant from jaipur on .... i am sure the show's ratings will go up cause that boy's got one hell of a voice

👏 👏 Great Post !!! I really feel ASVOI singers are far better than other shows .. and mind u this is just audition phase ... Also, the reason the judges are harsh, I feel, is because they want to set a very high standard for this show, so that contestants don't take it lightly and continuously keep working to improve themselves ... However, they probably can stop poking other equivalent reality shows 😆
