actually shahid came before RK and Imran , he is not exactly their contemporaries either and if he is still doing movie without havin major hits..u know he is not going anywehere ...true he mght not be one of the top actors but I do see him remainin in movies for a long time ...

Regarding Shahid, I don't think Ranbir and Imran or any of theE new guys are his contemporaries. Sorry, I mean obviously they are, but they don't belong to the same generation

All these new guys have come into the industry in 2008 or later and Shahid debuted in 2003!!! Shahid belongs to an entirely different generation. Him and Hrithik have a 2-3 year difference in their debut.

Shahids generation is the Hrithik, Vivek, Tushar, Fardeen era- all these guys came around the same time

Tiger has great physicality. He could be the one to fundamentally change action in BW. But wipe out Shahid ? Please, the dude already has one foot out the door, Varun is catering to the Govinda audience and I don't think physicality applies there. As for Sid, when did he even figure in action type roles ?
