First we have Paro...who is finally realizing just how carried away she got in forgetting her vow and instead of preparing Rudra for her eventually leaving, she only ended up making him open up to love all the more...Paro acknowledged today that she was selfish in doing so...ironically when the vow that she has made is in a sense the most self-less (or senseless in some ways) thing that someone can do in love...Paro confiding to Maithili was a nice scene...and she's starting to feel overwhelmed at the mere thought of leaving Rudra...but then she steels herself again as Paro usually does and puts the vow above everything else. ...
Paro's appointed Maithili as Rudra's guardian in her absence...lol...and her making Maithili promise not to tell Rudra why she left? lol...now there's a promise bound to be broken...Story contrivance or whatever you want to call it...will make for interesting angsty drama until Rudra finds out.
The rest of the epi played out in a mix of wonderful subtle moments b/w husband-wife...Paro wanting to live her likely last day in the haveli to the fullest...so wanting to cook Rudra's fav. food...trying to find joy in the small moments...her asking him at breakfast what he wants to eat for dinner...I smiled at the way they both said 'bina jalaaye" for the bhindi sabji bit...small moment but something sweet about it.
Then the scenes later on when they are packing for the trip...first Paro, lingering over every small token she has of her time with Rudra...the card with their names on it, the earring, the bangles and finally the doll which started all this...lol loved the tiny bit where Rudra asks her if she's complaining about him to the doll...and both of them talking through the doll.
Then the convo in the bit when Rudra's changing...Paro listing out all the things he likes...haha@ the mention of him insisting on wearing those jackets even in sweltering heatš...Rudra soft/fond smiles watching her list out everything were really sweet too...then the chaand bit...I loved Rudra's reaction to Paro saying "Mhaare toh chaand aur suraj dono hi aap ho"š...He's like Yeah I knowš...and then the way they convo turns to putting a "nazar ka teeka" on Paro's chaandš...so naturally and cutely they did this...and I loved that even on the bed they were both like full on grappling over the teeka thing rather than engaging in awkward eyelocksš...and even when the eventual eyelock came, I liked that they segued into the picture getting clicked on the phone...and how determined was Rudra in that scene to get his phone back?š...No eyelocks can distract him it seemsš...and his smile as he looks at that pic of Paro in his phone...awwš
One thing I do want to crib about...what was that horrible song they played in the bit when Paro finally manages to put a kaala teeka on Rudra? Really took away from the scene...wish they'd played the RR title song only...btw how comfortable are RP now sleeping together and waking up together in the morningš...like they've been married for decadesš
And finally the last scene...what an emotional way to wrap up the episode...Paro confessing her love to Rudra in the most direct manner she has until now...and the emotion in his eyes listening to her say this...beautiful stuff...and he wanted to say something to her there but she stopped him...thus setting the stage for his eventual need to want to reply to her confession.
So the whole epi was about goodbyes in a sense...gathering up memories to last them through the impending seperation...Paro lived her heart out in this last day she got in the haveli and Rudra will have these smiles, these sweet convos and that picture to remember her by...
What an interesting point the story has reached...and now we wait for the storm to hit...Looking forward to it.
