Agree and i hope our DT Team is expanded soon so the work load can be distributed...As such the time zone difference is hampering the communication between DTs and Members...

Agree this system is so annoying that most of the people stopped posting topics because they know it will be closed or merged with other topics...

bas DT warning dene mein awaal baki sab mein zero..baki forums pehle sab ready hota hai..not just d mebers but even d DT mebers bhi ghode bech ke baithe hain!!!

I totally agree with u. Even I noticed that a lot of topics r beings closed down or merged in this forum. DTs r so fast n closing threads down but disappointingly, they can't pre prepare for stuff like bday threads of the leads of the show. N I find it unfair that so many threads r merged, most of the msgs intended to be conveyed by the original topic dont even do 25% of the needful when they get merged. I'm sure this forum wud be much further up in the cm ranking if it wasn't for unnecessary closing/merging of topics. I think this forum's dt r taking their job too hard, as far as I know, in most other forums, they don't close topics where members just introduce themselves. Maybe the other forums' dt r more lenient but I can say for sure, so much closing/merging of topics is not required. Luvd ur post. I hope the dt read this thread n take members' opinions into consideration.

I looked for Preetika's b'day thread so many times last night,because I dont get time to come to IF early morning n I didn't want to get late wishing her..

I saw,another actress's b'day thread was already in the GA last night,while our thread was not even made. 😕

I am on a study break at the moment, but because of all the misconceptions that are happening i am having to come to the forum and make some things straight

The birthday thread was not DT's responsibility, members signed up for sections, they have sent in their entries late and even then there were spelling mistakes which meant that they needed to be rechecked and amended. The TM maker was not available to make the necessary changes to the thread to enable it to be GA, because once a thread is GA'd if any changes are made they become normal again. It is not our fault that members do not complete tasks or are unavailable to finish their tasks withinin the stipulated time periods that are given to them, nor is it our responsibility to continously check, recheck and remind members who volunteer what they need to do.The thread maker was responsible for the graphics and despite saying she would post them she didn't

This is the issue last time and this is the issue that we face EVERYTIME when NL is due to be posted.

Regarding trending, there was a GA by the admin stating that twitter issues should not be brought to the forums, but yet we allow members to discuss facebook and twitter updates on a single forum, twitter has nothing to do with IF, if you wish to trend that is your prerogative but rules are rules.

Regarding merging, this is not anything new, similar topics are always merged when they are noticed by the DT so that the forum is not filled with the same discussion. This is not something that happens here, i am also DT of other forums and this rule in apparent in all of them.

As per rules of this forum, DT issues are to be discussed with the DT or the GA if you are not happy, not on the open forum
