Nandu is not too pleased to see that Raj is coming over to his house. He glares at him as he gets into Armaan's car and jauntily signals that they will follow. Nandu demands, "Jassi, yeh raakshas mere shubh din ko ashusbh banane kyun aa raha hai?"
Jassi: (sternly) Nandu! Ab bas bhi kar! Raj ne tera kya bigaada hai?
Nandu: Bigaadne ki koshish mein toh laga rehta hai…..aur mujhe darr hai ki ek na ek din wo kaamyaab na ho jaye……
Jassi shrugs and they drive off. Armaan and Raj follow in the former's car.
The Walias are inevitably pleased to have Jassi over. So is Nandu's mom, who is beaming all over. Beauty is blushing in a corner. Chaman is daydreaming about the day when his own date will be "fixed" with Angel.😃 The pandit arrives and looks over the horoscopes and the panchaang.
He announces that the most auspicious date would be one month ahead. Bebe hugs Nandu's mom; Jassi hugs Nandu; Beauty hugs Amrit; and Armaan looks like he wants to hug Jassi, but can't in front of everyone, so ends up hugging Billu instead.😳
Then Raj asks very innocently, "Pandit ji, sirf yehi shubh muhurat hai ki aas-paas koi aur date bhi hai?"
Bebe laughs, "Ai hai….main toh bhool hi gayi thi…..iski bhi toh sagaai hui hai…tabhi itna utavla ho raha hai……
"
Raj: (embarrassed) Arre nahin Bebe……main toh bas aise hi…..soch raha tha ki by chance ye date na suit kare, toh ko aur pata honi chahiye na…
Billu: Arre iss mein kya problem hai….issko kaunse zaroori kaam aa pade hai ki shaadi karne ki fursat na nikaal sake…..kyun Jassi….office mein kuch kaam-dhaam karta bhi hai ki….?
Jassi looks reproachfully at him, then laughs. Nandu protests, "Aap toh mujhe hi kahoge na…maine toh apni sagaai ke baad chhuti bhi nahin li…..(pointedly) aur logon ki tarah nahin hu main…!"
Raj thinks, "Bas ruk ja Nand Kishore……abhi main tujhse gin-gin kar badla lunga!" To the Pandit, he says mildly, "Rehne dijiye panditji……uncle keh hi rahe hai ki koi zaroorat nahin…."
Pandit: (looking up) Par maine dekh liya hai…..agle 6 mahine tak koi aur shubh tithi nahin hai…jo tithi maine batayi hai, wahi sabse shubh hai…..haan agar aap, apne liye pooch rahe hai, toh main aapki aur aapki hone wali var-vadhu ki kundaliyan dekh kar koi aur tithi nikaalne ki koshish kar sakta hun…..(smiles) bas 501 rupaiye lagenge……
Nandu thinks, "Ab samjha main…..kundali iski banegi aur bill meri kismet mein aayega!"😆
Raj just starts saying, "Uski koi chinta nahin, main aur mere dost Nandu mein toh ghar ki baat hai….." when Beauty interrupts excitedly, "Doosri date nikaalne ki kya zaroorat hai….Raj sir ki shaadi bhi ussi din kyun nahin ho sakte….dono doston ki shaadi ek din!" 😛
Nandu's mom: Haan haan….ek hi mandap mein!
Amrit: Sab log yaad karenge ki kya shaadi hui thi!
JandA are looking laughingly at each other, but everyone else has no idea about the real feelings bubbling up in Raj and Nandu.
Raj is thinking, "Beta Raj…..isse pair par kulhadi maarna nahin, kulhadi par pair maarna kehte hai…..gayi teri classy, high-end wedding celebration…..ab tujhe iss Nand Kishore ki tarah kisi Cheddilal Tentwalle ke banaye hue mandap mein shaadi karni pedegi!"😆
Nandu is thinking, "Meri aur iss Raj-akshas 😉ki shaadi ek saath? Kabhi nahin!"
