Hi Guys,

The point of this post is actually for me to express my conflicted feelings. Even though I really, really loved the "dance" performance, Ishra, and Divan in the whole episode... I still had some odd feelings about how CVs took the episode forward after the dance.

CVS, THIS IS FOR YOU!! I REALLY HOPE YOU READ!!:

1. Galliyan is a beautiful song, no doubt, and it was great for Ishra today. But, to be honest, I think Banjaara from Ek Villian would have been EVEN BETTER. As I said above, I really don't think Ishra did a salsa dance. It was more like a symbolic performance. If it WAS a salsa dance,... then yes... Banjaara would not be the right song. But thats not what it was. I feel like Banjaara is a song that relates and captures Ishra much more perfectly than Galliyan does, and for today's emotionally symbolic performance, Banjaara would have been perfect to show Raman's growing acceptance and love for Ishita. Please CVS!!! USE BANJAARA ON ISHRA ASAP!! It is PERFECT!!

2. After the performance, Raman and Ishita's conversation was a bit weird. Its nice that they go back to being their normal selves... I liked that. But, wasnt it a little too soon? I mean, I feel like their should have been a little scene of Raman personally apologizing to her,... Ishita telling him how hurt she was, but how the dance moment helped her understand him more... or something like that. It was just... like the Raman-Shagun thing didnt happen. Ishita's anger and sad expressions before all of this and during the dance seemed to be all pointless now.

3. There was a blooper in Ishra's performance that has really been bothering me. After the amazing tear-wiping step... Ishita is shown comforted and happy in Raman's arms. But then, randomly there is a shot (when the "teri galliyan" step is done again), where Ishita is shown giving angry expressions. I dont know if this was editing, or what... but it seriously messed things up. After this shot, we go back to seeing Ishita happy and comforted until the end of the performance. I think after the tear-wiping, Ishita is supposed to be happy throughout, until the end of the performance. But this blooper in editing messed it up!! This is not the first time editing has gone wrong... please be careful!!

4. Divyanka needs to change her style!!! There is growing negativity about her capabilities and pairing with Karan, and it is pissing us all off. In order to shut people up, I think Ishita needs to have a transformation of some kind. We should see some new saris... or better, even suits... maybe show Ishita seriously becoming a punjabi bahu. We need blowed out, open hair!! Divyanka has stunning hair, she should flaunt it!! I think this will make her look "younger" too. And just imagine what amazing scenes we can have will open, volumized hair 😉😳 Also, please choose better western dresses!!! It is fine that Ishita as a character might not wear like super revealing dresses... but they can at least be suitable for Divyanka. Her dresses so far have been nice, but we need some modernity and figure flattering stuff!! You have got a stunning lead actress... CAPTURE HER BETTER!!

Thanks for reading my crazy rant guys. Had to express my feelings. I loved Ishra and Divan today, but it was just like it happened, it was beautiful, and then thats it. Something was missing in today's episode. And, CVs need to do something about editing and properly showing Divyanka's beauty!!!

sorry u are wrong ishra dance was over 2 minute long
and shagun dance was 1 min 30 sec only including her fall
so no way was shagun dance longer thsn ishra dance lol

Completely agree with you on all accounts. It's always the small things that take away from how good something is. It's completely understandable that mistakes can happen editing wise especially since they are shooting back to back episodes, but glaring mistakes such as the one where Ishita is supposed to be happy but instead an angry portion is slotted in just didn't work because it confuses the audience.

Also, Ishita's styling has been disappointing. I understand that they are trying to portray her as someone who is simple and down-to earth and the exact opposite of Shagun but that doesn't mean she can't be dressed well.

As far as Raman and Ishita having an honest heart-to-heart conversation, it is long overdue.

Oh... well I didnt time it or anything... I was just commenting based on what people on the forum were saying. It looked like it was shorter.

But if it wasnt, thats great too. Good to know!

Yea, little mistakes in editing is fine. Like in today's episode... when Raman and fam enter the house after the party, and Ishita is supposed to enter a little later with the workers... we could see Divyanka standing behind the door a bit. See, thats a little blooper... its fine. Its understandable, and doesnt really make a difference.

But these bigger things like what happened in the dance... seriously need to be fixed!

Yea, styling in all honesty has been a disappointment. I know she is supposed to be a traditional, independent south indian and everything. It was nice in the beginning of the show. But now she is well into her married life... she has even already passed the "newly wed" phase. They need to style her better now!! COMEON CVS!!!

Divyanka needs to change her style!!! Agree the CV's are not leveraging her looks and dress her older than she is - Agree her hair and clothes need transformation.

I have been mostly reading praise about her capabilities and about what an awesome pair Divan make - I think Ishu is very talented and pairing is divine.

Where have you been getting the perception you refer to re their pairing and her capabilities?

There have been so many posts recently about Karan and Anita being better, and Divyanka being too big for Karan and all that stuff. Its getting me really upset and actually worried now that all these comparisons are happening. I just think that to get people to stop judging her and her pairing with Karan so much, CVs really need to style her better. And, its also important for the character development.

Yay, good to know I wasn't only one who noticed the crappy editing and lack of damn continuity in the dance sequence. Honesty, they really need to do something about it. And yup, once again, like the apology scene, the scene between Raman and Ishita after the dance was disconnected. There should have been a serious conversation of some kind before Raman started talking up his dancing skills.

And well I have to agree, they need to work on Divyanka's styling. They curled up her hair too much, it looked weird during the blouse scene. I think they need some simple suits for her, something along the lines of the red and white one she was wearing when Raman asked her for the newspaper. The simpler her dressing, the more beautiful she looks.

YES! I AGREE!!!!! Divyanka is naturally very beautiful. Her simplicity is her beauty. They need to flaunt that!! The makeup needs to be toned down... and I am telling you... simple, blowed out, open hair is ALL she needs!! No crazy curls!!

Even for party shots, or western dress things... KEEP HER SIMPLE!! She will look so much more elegant. There is no need to make her makeup over the top because its a party er because shes wearing a dress. PLEASE. SIMPLE MAKEUP, ELEGANT CLOTHING!! All Divyanka needs is some really nice kajal and mascara... and she is GOLDEN.

I have seen those posts too... But on those same posts, others have directly disagreed. In addition, there have been by far a majority of posts that rave about the Divan pairing and Ishu's capabilities and looks. There will always be some who don't agree and that's ok. We can't stop people from judging or having the opinions they have and diverse opinion are healthy anyway.

Ekta is known for talent in picking epic pairs and Divan is another prime example.

Separately and independent of that though, I do agree there is plenty of room for improvement in how the production house styles and dresses Ishu. I do personally agree with some others that for Ishu, simplicity highlights her natural looks.

That being said, as EkPaheli said in one of her posts, Ishu is so beautiful, she would look good in a sack.
