Delena is the HEART of the show.

Damon exudes what 'real' lasting love is. Otherwise the way couples are shown easily moving on with there lives as if they were never emotionally invested in the first place is very hard to believe. Love is shown more of as a timely hook up now rather than a ever-lasting expression of the heart.

Well apart from the couples i loved the story too equally but unfortunately that went down the drains with season 5.Now coming to the Stelena/Delena part, It's always been Delena for me from day 1. The moment i saw Damon i started shipping them. Stelena is way too boring for me. It's something like 'these two r the hero and heroine and they hv to fall in love'. Not only stelena but this kind of love in any story makes me doze off. Honestly i hv never seen ANYTHING between stelena. Whenever i saw their scenes i was like 'okay i know u both r a couple and so u love each other. So get it over with'. It was not like a love that developed slowly. I normally don't fall for this type of romance because nothing is there is to explore. On top of that both were very boring characters. That's too much for me.

Totally agree with u and I am preetty sure in s6 their rs will be moree stronger...
