The show and the team has been dismissed.. I don't know what has happened in the show but they have apparently said something aout Hazrat Ali (RA) and Hazrat Fatimah (RA) which has hurt the sentiments of many people.. Shaista apologized for it pretty soon quoting that it was a mistake and wasn't intended to hurt anyone.. But I just saw the headlines on Geo saying the show and the team has been dismissed untill further investigations..

Ary has been taking the advantage of the situation and trying to make it into a very big issue..

does anyone know what they actually said on the show?

Geo and Shaista ke bure din chal rahe hain.. 😆

I dint watch but there was a lot going on against whatever she did. dramasonline says...

Shaista Lodhi's Morning Show on Geo Entertainment is being gravely criticized by all because the sufi group on her show sang the manqabat Ali ke Saath hai Zahra ki Shaadi' during the wedding reenactment of film Actress Veena Malik.

as far as i think Shaista has ever been the one to think before she speaks and so such critcizm is all she can get.

Ohh I saw the ARY video.. I get it now.. Why in the first place make a qawwali or whatever that is with such sacred people in it.. that should be the first question and second ofcourse they were singing it associating Veena and her husband with Hazrat Ali RA and Hazrat Fatimah RA (Nauzubillah).. Greaaat the show should never come back.. let it be dismissed forever 🤢

of course for these people getting publicity demands crossing the limits. the whole team was sleeping while covering this show...i wont care if they ban ALL of these stupid morning shows.

When Veena and Shahista come together...THINGS ARE SURELY GOING TO GE MESSED UP.

🤣 Dono drameybaazo ke saath sahi drama hogaya,especially Shahista.

I heard Mubasshir Luqman did a whole show on this issue.

I am glad.

Now someone fire nida tooo... And bring some decent people who can actually talk.

I miss Sonia Rehman.

She was so good,i saw one or two episode of her show but it was good.

This is a good news.I hope Shahista gets FIRED nd never comes back on ANY channel😳

yup...how stupid...comparing veena and her husband to the Prophets daughter...not only that...the qawali also had some lyrics like all the prophets will be part of this wedding...these people have lost their minds...i am so glad they are banned...now watch...she will appear on some other network now

Geo put the ban themselves so they will definitely lift them up..🤢

yeaahh I heard it too.. why do they even make such songs.. pathetic people..

I saw this in Khara Sach, they dedicated a whole segment to this incident. Haven't seen much of Shaista but the little I have and heard, she's always come across as thick and full of fluff with the potential to galvanise people the wrong way. She should just stick to talking about Bollywood/Lollywood and other superficial crap.

yah Geo k to wakae buray din chal rahy hein..Geo ny apny pairoon mein khud he khulare maare hy.😆.and others are taking advantage of this specially Ary.Ary looks more like an AntiGeo channel now a days..

honestly according to me the wording of the qawale telecasted on both the channels was against the rules of Islam..and Ary is doing all these tactis just to raise their ratings and it is nothing about patriotism.i m not in favour of Geo but ARY is also no less.Everyone is mean..and doing protest just for their own sake.

and about morning shows of Pakistan..i think all the morning shows are crap.i really dislike all the nautanki they do in the morning.so its better to close all the morning shows and stop this shade ka drama .in morning they should show some useful things other than marriage.becoz shahde to sb ko krne ate hy.😆

I'm glad it's dismissed. Pakistani 'chat shows' are crap. It's even worse when these celebrities try to make out they actually care about the average man or religion. It's disingenuous and really frustrates me. I even find Fahad Mustafa's show (whatever it's called) cringe-worthy. It's better these shows don't air at all.
