Panchi Bora (aka Prachi from Kayamath) recently went to Assam to attend her sister's wedding. The actress is so caught up in work that she was only able to spare a few days off for the celebrations that took place on May 16th.
Panchi added some star quality to the wedding and guests couldn't get enough of the television actress: "It's nice to be a star because all the guests were very excited. All of them forgot about my name and when they recognized me it was as Prachi! It feels good as it means Kayamath is popular. The most amazing thing though was that children were taking snaps with me."
Weddings are a great place to meet eligible bachelors. Did Panchi have any luck?
Panchi laughs saying, "No. Frankly speaking most of the guests at the wedding were relatives! I interacted mostly with my masis while I was there. That means there were no eligible bachelors whom I met during the wedding!" Panchi's sister promises to visit her in Mumbai soon. She says, "They hardly come here as my sister likes to stay at home, but they will come to the sets after their honeymoon."
Panchi narrates an unfortunate incident that happened recently on the sets of Kayamath: "There was a scene where Alap, my onscreen brother, ignites a fire. In order to make it more aggressive my director poured petrol on it. The fire caught on to his hand and he got badly burnt. As my director was trying to throw off the flame it hit a stray dog and it was killed. It was so bad that Sangeeda started to cry after the incident."
On a lighter note, Panchi is enjoying Kayamath thoroughly as "it is quite different. Up till now the saas-bahu track has not come up and I'm enjoying my self."
