Court case keeps Salman out of action

While Salman Khan was at the Mumbai Sessions Court for a hearing in the 2002 hit-and-run case, producer director Sajid Nadiadwala flagged off the final schedule of the Salman-starrer Kick, without him.
When Mirror caught up with Sajid at Bandra's Mehboob studios, he was tight-lipped about his star's legal tangles and how it would affect the film's schedule. Instead he asserted that the 48-year-old actor will report back to the sets on Thursday.

"Salman's hearing is not really going to cause any delay in the schedule. So far, everything is going smooth," said Sajid, who is making his directorial with Kick.
The film's leading lady, Jacqueline Fernandez, was also missing in action. "Her portions have mostly been shot. Jackie will only be joining us at the end of the week. While 80 per cent of the film is complete, a few important song-and-dance sequences are yet to be shot," a source from the sets told this newspaper.
MEANWHILE...
Three stages of Mehboob studios have been booked by the film's production, Nadiadwala Grandson, for the shoot. While construction has been in progress on Stages 1 and 3, the film's director, Sajid Nadiadwala was spotted shooting an intense sequence with Nawazuddin Siddiqui in a hospital set erected on Stage 2.
The actor, clad in an unbuttoned formal shirt, looks at the camera and croons, "Do Devil, Mil Rahe Hain. Magar, Chupke Chupke..." before breaking into an evil laugh.
The National Award-winning actor got it right in a couple of takes, and his performance was so impressive that the crew burst into a spontaneous applause. After shouting 'cut', Sajid closed his eyes for a few seconds as if he was praying. The unit looked apprehensive wondering what was up. Soon enough, Sajid joyously raised his fists in the air, happy with the shot, much to the relief of his crew, and Nawaz too.
